Hey there, I'm looking at improving the cooling on my ps3 slim. I'm very confident with the usage of thermal paste and de-lidding, so no worries there. What I'm wondering about is the type of metal that the heat spreaders of the RSX and Cell are. I ask this since I have a tube of Collabratory Liquid Ultra, and it's common knowledge that this substance literally "Eats" anything aluminum. On a side note, I'm not using the Liquid Ultra for usage between the heatsink and heat spreader. I'll be using Gelid Extreme for that. Thanks for any help!

why not just use something like Arctic Sliver 5 or Ceramique? I prefer Arctic Silver Ceramique and OCZ Freeze compounds as they work fine and there is no worry about eating aluminum.
