Gaming Are mettalic blue psp rare?

I just bought one yesterday in Japan.

Rare as in if it's limited edition or such? Then no, I bought the same colored PSP a year and half ago.

Rare as in if it's discontinued or whatnot, I have no idea. Are phats still in production?

Well, Sony just announced the new Metallic Blue PSP pack, so I would say they aren't rare in the least

I would say the Phat Metallic blue would be hard to come by, but not rare, a slim version is due out in the fall I believe, bundled with madden

I refused to wait until then and to buy a bundle just to get one. So I bought a blue replacement housing that looks awesome.
