Anyone familiar with the kernel/firmware for this flash cart?

That's not a DSTT, its an R4 clone called R4I3D.

Why the heck would you expect it to work?!

You're supposed to follow the other instructions in the post to install YSMenu.

If you can't find the "og kernel", you don't have a lot of options.

That appears to be the kernel for the "2013" card and it is not clear that it will work for the "new" card pictured in the photo.

(Also "kernel" and "firmware" are not the same thing.)

Since this seems to be based on Acekard hardware, the best kernel you can use for it is BL2CK. Download the kernel from here.

I got what mushguy told me to use, sadly doesn’t work with Pokémon blaze black 2 redux

If it boots fine and gives you a missing firmware error screen, then its possible that the firmware does not work or maybe the wrong sized SD card. Maybe try cleaning the cartridge contacts?

I'll try that too cause I don't get any error screen, just a white screen

The kernel that I supplied should also work with your card. Or use TWLMenu++ instead.

If I had to guess, maybe the card is old enough to only support SD cards under 2GB or 4GB in size. I've had cases like this happen before, with my Wii not liking my 8GB Kingston SD Card (Before the SDHC update).
