Hacking Any ideas on how to do this task?

Basically, I wanted to share GBA savegames between my Supercard SD and a VBA emulator. Mostly, the point is playing on the DS when I am outside my house and then continue playing that same savegame when I'm at home, but this time on a VBA emulator.

Any ideas on if this is possible, and how?

I cant remember exactly but is the save format for SC SD the same as VBA?

Either way. you could put a fresh rom file on the SD card make sure the same file name to all the files (save, vba rom, SC rom) then open the either file when you are on the gba or the vba. I think this could only be done with actual saves, not save states. as the format of save states are different.

Hi. That's a problem, I am not sure if the saves are compatible or not. If I understood you correctly, you are telling me to try using the SC *.sav file as if it was a VBA save file, is that it?

I will try that later today, but I doubt it works directly like that...

Strage... well, I picked Ukemerald (an Hack of the USA pokemon emerald) and started playing it on VBA. Picked "Enable Real Time Clock", "authomatic save type" and "save type -> Flash 128K". Played it for a bit on the emulator, saved, all went fine.

Then, I went to Supercard SD's software, flashed my *.gba game and selected the following options to do it:
- Enable Save ("Import Saver from file", I picked the *.sav file that VBA created)
- Enable Saver Patch
- Enable Real Time Save
- Enable Restart

Started the game and all that, but it doesn't work!
I also tried to over-write the *.sav file generated by the patcher software by the one created by VBA, but it didn't work, either.

Any tips on what I can be doing wrong?
