Announced today is Rogue Spirit, an anime inspired action-adventure game developed by Poland-based studio Kids With Sticks and will be published worldwide by 505 Games. It is a single player title that puts you in control of the ghost of the former Prince of Midra as you clear the land of the ever-present evil. To succeed in this task as a ghost, you will be able to possess enemy characters and absorb their skills as you travel across landscapes inspired by Japanese and Southeast Asian cultures while tackling foes and bosses requiring different combat approaches.

Rogue Spirit will receive a playable demo on June 9 and is planned to have an Early Access version in August. Developers Kids With Sticks says that it will scale the game to include 20 playable characters having unique abilities, weapons and playstyles; as well as feature 10 procedurally-generated levels "set within 5 different biomes".

Yeah, that was a bummer. Supposedly it was because that was planned for a sequel, but they made it into a DLC ending when the sales numbers weren't good enough. On the bright side, it was probably the best value I've ever gotten out of story-based DLC. That shit was crazy!
