With this tool you can trade your pokemons online (with someone or from an online pool). You can use an emulator (bgb) or your physical game boy (this adapter is needed: https://stacksmashing.gumroad.com/l/gb-link).

This is great, thanks for sharing. Seems to still be really early days for now but I remember seeing that stacksmashing video last year.

I have a raspberry pi pico lying around that I haven't known what to do with so I just went ahead and ordered his kit for the the GB Link adapter, ended up costing $19.50 after shipping (no tax I guess).

Hopefully the software fleshes out into something that's a lot easier for less tech inclined people to enjoy, not everyone would be comfy installing the python prereqs and such
