Fine, you can ask me or HeheMoo..

I am open for Requests, as I said before and am willing to make as many codes as you like, Just nothing to over the top.. Ill do what I can do, If I have the game and If I have the time..

But Ill do only what I can handle in a short amount of time.. I have limited time on my hands..

Ill take simple requests now, Open VIA PM
Game is 3060 - Hotel Giant DS (Europe)

The address is 403678 and it's fixed, works for all levels, on emucheat as table it works as 8 16 and 32 bits, both locked or unlocked, you can add bilions of $

As AR cheat on no$gba it doesn't work, I tried 02403678 xxxxxxxx, 12403678 0000xxxx, 22403678 000000xx and tried activators too but nothing.

Thanks for the quick replies.

Ermm... that's what I'm saying from the beginning, that AR code doesn't work.

Are you sure? Curley would have tested it already mate... Perhaps you forgot to click on Action Replay DS, or perhaps forgot to tick the little square?

iPikachu, to "piece" the cheats together...

Step 1. Double click on the code.

Step 2. Change the DEX value to what you want. For example, if I had 10 lives, I would double click on that code, and change the DEX Value (which would normally be 10) to 9999... if you want 9999 lives.

Step 3. Emucheat would then automatically change the HEX value to 270F (if you typed 9999 in the DEX value).

Step 4. Untick the "locked" box, then name your code in the Desc. box (optional). Click OK.

Step 5. Click on Table and look at the code. The first section should be your address. Copy&Paste that into your emulator. Then add 02, 12 or 22 to the start of it... depending on which one it requires. If you don't understand it, try all of them.

Step 6. The last piece: copy and paste the HEX value... (270F) into the box. Also put zeros before it so that it becomes 8 digits.

Click on Action Replay DS, then click OK. Also double click on the little tick box. It should work.

lucoia, your code is right
smile.gif
nothing is wrong
but
no matter what you do the code will never ever work on flashcart or emulator ~!
unless you patch it

WHY IT DOESN'T WORK ~! read post #3866 from polle123 and #3868 from Normmatt
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=84991&st=3855

In other words
the effective memory range for a working code is somewhere to be 02000000 to 023FFFFF. (correct me if i am wrong)
Any address or code that starts from 02400000 will be unreadable in no$gba or any flashcart

Anyone feel free to addon.. please do so

That's a 4mb range, the DS ram memory.

The only solution is incremental pointers in the code, how does that work in AR codes?

hey elix, how can wath you say be true?
If everything above 02400000 is used for visual and sound, then why would a money address be located there??

Ok so I was bored and spent my day thinking of how to make a pointer code
well... actually I already had all the stuff to make a pointercode but I didn't like it
so: I came up with a pretty nice idea to my opinion
I will MAYBE add some pictures and an example if I find a code to make

NEEDED:
-emucheat =>is an awsome mem editor (witch I use to find my codes)
-hasteds131 =>is a terrible mem editor (but it has a full ram dump methot! *witch we need*)
-NDS Pointer codes & Backtracer Tool By Kenobi - v1.90beta => latest version atm *clicky*

so wath we'r going to do: we are going to use BOTH THE EDITORS AT THE SAME TIME ^^
happy.gif

*sounds logical but it took me awhile to come up with that*

-so boot up NO$GBA with the game you want to make a pointer for
-run hasteds131 and emucheat
-attach BOTH OF THEM
-start finding the adress of the thing you want using emucheat *meanwhile hasteds131 just keeps doing nothing but looking at the mem*
-once you find the adress FOR THAT LEVEL (as that is wath a pointercode is about) remeber the adress and goto hasteds131 and press the button "memory dump"
-save as "RAMDUMP 1" or something like that

So now we have:
-"ramdump1"
-An adress that works with ramdump1 (XXXXXXXX ZZZZZZZZ)

-Do the same for a different level
-remeber adress
-make "ramdump2"

So now we have:
-Ramdump1
-An adress that works with ramdump1 (XXXXXXXX ZZZZZZZZ)
-Ramdump2
-An adress that works with ramdump2 (YYYYYYYY ZZZZZZZZ)

Good, now we will need the pointer tool
-open it up
-goto the second tab (pointer search)
*file1 = our first RAMDUMP
*file2= our second RAMDUMP
-so upload those and type in our 2 adresses (only the XXXXXXXX and YYYYYYYY *not the ZZZZZZZZ*)
-press "GO"
-Let the tool run a scan
-goto tab 1 (pointer to ARDS) (there will already be an adress typed in)
-so behind the already typed adress type our value (ZZZZZZZZ)
-press "GO"
-you should now get a 4 line code at the right
-thats your pointer code
biggrin.gif

happy coding

EDIT: added the link to latest version of the pointer tool

hahaha~! polle123,

well is just so simple, finally you figured it all out
smile.gif

i am so happy that you always never seem to dissapoint me
smile.gif

haha.. regarding the visual and sound is something you mentioned before, i just quoted from you
tongue.gif
lol
until now i am still pretty clueless of what is over 02400000 as you had pointed out
smile.gif

maybe you can add on, if you have any more information

EDIT: hasteds might be buggy but try using emuhaste ~!
you can actually use emuhaste only to get the pointer code
