Does the dark theme work on 4.1

i am on 4.1u and have been since waninkoko put out his updater... almost immediately, i was given this to play with:
(thanx to the creator's and a special thanx to he he gave it to me!)

i used http://wadder.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1350 mymenuify

to install:

i don't have vids yet

as to anyone having a problem, try using my menu 1.2 to compile. I've heard a lot of people have issues with 1.3

read the tutorial if you are having problems. If a theme comes in a rar, it needs that specific run first.

I tiried this with mymenu and it said Ash unpack failed Fatal Error I followed you guide but it didn't work How would I fix this and thanks for the fast theme

no problem, almost all of the ones I posted can be used on PAL, at the very least the only thing missing is the health screen. I'm working on fixing that, but I need feedback for which ones have issues.

which part are you getting the error..?

As for any one else getting this issue, where did you get your original .app?
The best bet and easiest way to get your app is

1. NUS downloader,
2. use the pack the wad option,
3. unpack it with wadunpacker
grab the .0000001.app and rename it to your


system menu title id's and versions
USA = 0000000100000002 v417 4.0
EUR = 0000000100000002 v418 4.0

4.1 will download automatically, don't put a version in

I'm pretty sure that's how it goes, if you did that and still get an error let me know.

see this is why i packed .csm files cuz i knew people would fuck things up

for PAL the .app file you need is 0000007e.app FOR NTSC-U you need 0000007b.app

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and as long as you have preloader or bootmii installed, there shouldn't be that many problems.

Most of the problems stem from either

mymenu( I still say 1.2 is better than 1.3)

or

not having the right .app(try NUS downloader)

Thanx bj4e2 for the steelers theme again finally got it to install on my wii. had to use NUS downloader to get another system file after that everthing went as smooth as silk. I love the theme

Every single time i do these steps
1. NUS downloader,
2. use the pack the wad option,
3. unpack it with wadunpacker
I can't find .0000001.app

no problem, it's usually one of 3 things that stops it from working, you just have to figure out which one it is.


I plan on making the raiders theme and the detroit lions theme and the soccer/football one too(can't remember the name offhand)

I got most of my pics for the raiders but I'm having a hard time with the lions

It should be in the folder on your desktop that was downloaded from NUS. open the folder and look for the wad that ends in v4xx. it should be the only wad in that folder if I am not mistaken. Then put that wad in the same directory as wad packer/unpacker. Select the unpack dos in that folder and it should output the correct .app file. Then you must rename that output file for example 00000007b.app . the name for the correct file for the system menu you need are on pg. 2 of this thread. After that just follow the rest of the directions in that same post. Worked like a charm for me.

I was getting that too because I must have used a bad system menu wad. What version are you on. 4.0 or 4.1. Also check this vid out it may help you with getting the right download from NUS.

Yeah I got it to work but when go to wii settings it has patriots stuff

you can open up the mym and delete the setupsel folder and it will delete it from your theme when you rezip it and rename it to .mym, or you can change the pics if you choose.

just remember to zip it(not rar) and rename it back to .mym
