Just got a new SanDisk 256gb SD card that I am having trouble getting to read. I have an 8gb that works fine but for some reason the beast is being hard to tame, haha. Any help would be appreciated.
Tried the SD official formatter as well as the Windows formatter in 64k and 256k sizes.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Download MiniTool Partition for Windows.
Install it.
Insert your MicroSD in your PC.
Start the program.
DELETE (not format) the whole partition.
Create a new whole one setting it as PRIMARY, FAT32 and Cluster Size 32 (64 is faster if you want, but 32 is default)
Save the changes on the right up corner of the program
You are ready to go!

Where did you get the SD card? Are you sure it is legit?

It could just be a faulty card, but have you tried a different pc and/or SD reader to rule those out also?

Make sure the card is formatted to fat32. As I recall, SDXC cards need to be reformatted to work properly with a Wii or Wii U
