Aside from this being the "latest and greatest", is there really any reason to pick up the SNES classic if I've already got a hakchied NES mini? I already have all the games (except Starfox 2, which I hear isn't that great).
I guess it'd be cool to have the "Real" SNES controllers, but the one...
Hi @NeoPolak, here's what I posted before:
What worked for me was upgrading the NES30 pro with the 1.73beta0 found here:

I then upgraded the Retro Receiver's firmware to 1.05beta3 found here...
Does anyone know where I could get a stripped down version of Castlevania - Symphony of the night? I vaguely remember back in my PSP emu days that there was one around 50 MB.

The steps are the same. The firmware is the only thing that is different for the pro version. You need to update the firmware for both the receiver and controller.

Well, after two days of playing with the 8bitdo nes30 pro, It is my go-to controller for all things NES Classic. It's a great controller and the analog sticks work great for N64 games. It feels like holding an old SNES controller, although it is a little thinner.
If anyone is interested, here...
I'd stick with the 8bitdo controllers. The "real" SNES controllers there are not real. There has been issues with third-party controllers not working (@Cluster seemed to fix some though with his latest release). I cannot speak for Nyko miniboss, but from what I've read it feels cheap.
8bitdo...

Just ordered one of these babies. Works great for all the games (from what I've read). I have a regular nes30 from 8bitdo and it works like a champ.

That's what I'm not sure of. If everything runs fine then go with it. If it starts to fizzle out after a...
What I do is uninstall all user mods that I know are installed, then just "uninstall all traces of Hakchi". I believe if you click "file" you will see uninstall. After that's done, I will download a new Hakchi and reload all my games. I know that may be a little overkill, but it has worked for...
I just used version 2.14. I started with a clean install (which I always do with a new version).
Ideally, It'd be nice to not have to use folders but it's not that big of a deal. The most important thing is that it works.
Same for me. I don't like using folders. I like having everything right on the main screen. When I disable folders and set the max number of games to 100, I get C8 errors. I have 92 games.
Do I need to use folders if I have more than 30 games?
It happens only on some games. Example, when playing Mega Man X, if I go into the retroarch menu and navigate to any submenus, the screen goes black and the power light goes off. I don't get any type of error.
Luckly, I really don't have the need to go into the menu since I've already set my...
Usually when such a big title leaks the Temp will be the first to report about it (going off of historical reports here, Pokemon SV being the latest one I can recall seeing pop up here)
I only watch tv when i goto bed, it puts me to sleep, and I have a nas drive filled w my fav shows so i can watch them in order, commercial free. I usually watch Married w Children, or South Park
oh you mean the 3rd party apps on Kodi, yea i know what you mean, yea there are still a few cool ones, in fact watched the new planet of the apes movie other night w wifey thru one, was good pic surprisingly, not a cam
I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)
I had to find and get him an old style flip phone even without text, cause thats what he wanted. No text, no internet, only phone calls. Old, old school.
