    Hacking [Release] - uTikDownloadHelper

Can you also give the option of making a queue for downloads and allowing downloading into a folder that has items in it? I want to put the game files into the folder that has that game's tik file in it, but I don't want to move everything around after the download.

    Hacking Download the NEW NUSGrabberGUI

I am also getting the "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application" prompt and then "There was an unknown problem when downloading." Here's the Debug EDIT: Ignore me. I didn't have the 32 bit version of Visual C++ installed.

The settings aren't per game. They're for every emulator.

Homebrew [Discussion] Next Smea release looks like it's gonna be a big one!

What in particular has come out for only N3DS? If I recall correctly, anything that works on N3DS works on O3DS. If you are counting some emulators that are still in alpha state, then whatever.

Homebrew [Discussion] Next Smea release looks like it's gonna be a big one!

More like, if you are able to download them on the system they are supposed to be on, then you can change the language, if they include it.

Homebrew [Discussion] Next Smea release looks like it's gonna be a big one!

I asked him in the IRC if it would be possible to kick you back to the Homebrew Launcher if a homebrew crashes and he said that he's looking into it.

Homebrew [Release] FBI - Open source CIA installer

Right, but they were asking if homemenuhax had access to install cias without libkhax, which is not possible.

    Homebrew [release] HomeMenuHax

It's just a theme, which we were already able to do.

Homebrew [3DS] mGBA Alpha 1v Released

It was called Yoshi Topsy-Turvy in North America, and I thought it was alright.

    Homebrew [RetroArch] Nightly builds here!

I just manually set things in the config in a text editor. It's easier and allows for having the left stick and the d-pad to control the same functions. input_player1_up = "up" input_player1_up_btn = "nul" input_player1_up_axis = "-1" input_player1_down = "down" input_player1_down_btn = "nul"...

Homebrew [Release] FBI - Open source CIA installer

The homemenuhax relies on changing the theme which is located on your SD Card, so it doesn't have kernel access. It only has userland access.

    Homebrew [release] HomeMenuHax

They might just give up, if they think it's close to the end of the life cycle for the 3DS.

    Homebrew [release] HomeMenuHax

That's why this exploit is fun. It's not easily fixed, because then they'll have to change how themes are installed, which could lead to more shenanigans.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
