Updating from boot9strap 1.2 to 1.3 is really necessary for the system updates/luma or both of them?

As far as I can tell, there weren't any changes in B9S 1.3 that matter for payload compatibility, since there hasn't been a Luma update to support it. So it probably doesn't matter.

It's important to update luma, but you don't need to update system fw, but there is no point in staying on a low fw, so i recommend you update.

1.2 should work fine but if you run into issues using that build update it.
