I tried to install the sys-con homebrew that lets you use ps3/ps4/xbox etc controllers on the switch by plugging them into the dock. I couldn't get it to work and the bigger problem is that now it has stopped sxos from recognizing anything else that I put into the usb slots. specifically my usb hard drive, and my 8bitdo wireless adaptor. does anybody know a way to solve this?

some notes...

the switch will see my usb drive but everything on it will be 0KB and when I click on folder or file nothing happens (well a completely grey screen comes up).

one work around is changing the sxos back to 2.8 (before it allowed reboot to payload) allows the switch to recognize the usb drive and 8bitdo adaptor as usual. but when i go back to either 2.9.2 or 2.9.3 I have the problem of not being able to recognize anything I plug into a usb port.

is there anyway to just deactivate sys-con? I removed the sys-con files from my sdcard but that doesn't solve the issue.

Edit: I was able to get the usb drive to work by making new folders and copying the contents of old folders to new folders. not sure why this worked, but I'm not complaining. I got the 8bitdo wireless adaptor working by updating the adaptor's own firmware. still strange that I never got the sys-con working since it's pretty straight forward and other sx os users have it working. but whatever happened to me when I tried it nuked whatever was in my usb ports and wouldn't let me use them again until I made some change to them.
