Both jhon591 and sickc builds are good.
If you tried other games in sickc's builds, you will get different result.
For example,

sickc's build in 20th Nov (start at 7:55):

jhon591's build in 22th Nov:

And in Pokemon Sun, jhon591's build got higher speed.

High speed is nice and all, but it does not fixes the stutter in fmv or bad framepacing.
Also i do not care about the pokemon games.

The only one who has it all is the citra main build found on the website, but the speed is not okay to be modest here (about 50% slower than custom builds)

The 14 november had good speed (the one drwhojan compiled/merged), decent framepacing and correct frame analysis (100% is actual 100% speed instead of sickcs build or that from jhon), but has the FMV stutter, which is quite annoying.

The one i used before was from januari 30, that one had good framepacing, good fmv motion, and correct speed analysis, but the build is out-dated and i need to do something to get better performance, but it is not worth sacrificing framepacing or bad frame analysis.

some games i play are:

7th dragon:code VII (one of the most demanding game out there, i get 44 out of 60 fps on a 3.4GHz i7 4xxx in the most demanding scene)
Dragonquest 8 (runs like a charm on the 14 nov build, almost no complaints here)
Persona Q (intro stutters like mad), hence the FMV stutter was born)
Miitopia - for some reason the game hangs / frames freeze and just outright skips frames whenever it pleases with custom builds, the official build doe snot have this problem. Does not crash though, it is still "playable" if you enjoy missing half the game render.

to name a few.

Citra 05-11 still the best build to play Fantasy Life?

I suggest you too to try the LLVM builds made by Sickc which were posted right here in order to find out if any of those is faster than the one you're using right now.

While playing Fantasy Life I'm getting around 20 fps in sickc builds. It's the best that I can get since my PC is quite weak :(

In pokemon ultra moon, I get this weird glow around things. Tried both the newer citra versions from sickc and jhon591

Is no one else experiencing this type of glow around objects, especially the characters?

Something I called "bloom ghosting" a few pages ago. You aren't the only one with the problem but I don't know of a fix, myself.

It's less noticeable after you progress further in the story. I suggest ignoring it for now.

Thank you for the response. Good to know it becomes less prevalent (or maybe we get used to it haha) but now that you gave the term for it I can be on the lookout for a fix!

If I didn't misunderstand the framepacing you said, that because it conflict with new codes, it take out temporarily.
FYI, jhon591 is drwhojan, the same person.

I'm surprised that Smash 3DS with mods run decent speed on basic and small poly stages like Balloon Fight or Pictochat. Victory screen is now at 25fps instead of 15 or less.

BTW. I used Matif's build.

framepacing issues are pretty easy to explain.

When you have a game that runs at 30fps for example, it needs 33ms frames to render it correctly.
When the framepacing is not correct, let's say 40ms or even 50ms, it gives the game and motion a real stuttering feeling (even though it is 30fps locked) it looks like framskipping while it actually isn't.

How did my texfiltering end up there? Didn't mean to make it public... It will break Qt anyway so I don't really care - doubt anyone here actually knows how to program to fix it.

No idea lol you're place..

I was only asked to add it, but if I really wanted too i could re-base maybe take little doing no need for programming just NotePad++ for all the files. are MSVC2017, only one snag it will clash with Phanto-m threads_vtx thread_pool.h and you're thread_pool.h
----
I merged B3n30 vertex_thread with Phanto-m one thread_pool.h now Kid Icarus Uprising Intro is playing and not looping :)
edit: upcomming soon

"citra-windows-mingw-20171122-b93241a" good fps and better to speed compare to "msvc tabnk 14oct", but i use test mingw build of drwhojan crash pokemon um/us with function pokemon refresh and build msvc tabnk not crash
I have tried with many builds many times before I do not know why, so every time when I use the pokemon refresh function I have to close games and use it.

p/s: i like build mingw od drwhojan merge so much ;)

Use Citra-CC-MSVC-05_11_2017, it's better.

For the people who do not understand what my complaints were, here are a few pictures to illustrate it

Notice the framerate% and the actual frames displayed (in case you do not know where to look, look at the bottom right)

1: https://imgur.com/AEUEpvH
2: https://imgur.com/ouG0hNj

Now how it should be displayed

3: https://imgur.com/0yvSq8d
4: https://imgur.com/hEByeAt

See the difference?

Even though the 14 october one is technically slower, the speed is correct, while the other one is fullspeed, but has terrible frameskipping in it.
