N2DS XL is cheaper than N3DS XL. Yeah, you're right. Recent games don't even offer 3D anymore. Having 3D on a game is a hit or miss on the community. Also, the developers are getting less and less creative on how to use the 3D feature, not that it has that much to offer anyway but I'd still love to see different creativity done on the 3D feature. Oh well, time to move on to the Switch or I'll probably just wait for the 2nd gen. Switch since I still have plenty of games to play in the 3DS.

I got a n3dsxl but returned it becomes it gave me headaches and burning eyes

I usually turn the 3-D effect to the lowest setting. It may not work for everyone, but I find it tolerable. I also only use it when I want a cool experience, like running through certain parts of Legend of Legacy and maybe in XC or SMT IV/A. OoT 3D is pretty tolerable in half-hour plays.

Nobody (that i know) got a 3DS because of the 3D function, we got it just to be able to play games on it (Pokemon, mainly).

The old 2DS is not worth over any 3DS model and the N2DS is, well, new, so lots of people already have a 3DS, so whats the point on getting a N2DS?

Last point i can make is that a 3DS XL/N3DS XL is better than a N2DS, i just like it more (Design, build quality, that one by a lot, etc).

This is still a console, its meant to play games. Having the 3D function is just a plus, but the point in having one is to play games.

Then you bought it cause you liked the design, cause if you dont use the 3D, you can turn it off. What im trying to say is that the point of getting a console, any console, is to play games. What model? Then we can talk about preference, but there is not one thing that a 3DS cant do and the 2DS can. Only thing i can see is price, but that is related to build quality and for me the N2DS build quality is not even close to the N3DSXL, so is worth getting one.

I guess the old 2DS is more suited for a younger generation of gamer. I prefer playing gba games with my 2DS over the N3DS Model.
Some much Nostalgia. It reminds me of the good old times with the Silver Gameboy Advance Special Edition released in November 2002.
Man, I regret selling that thing.
