On my github there is a first working alpha version of the game (only in 3dsx format for now).

It has only sfx (I had to disable background musics for a problem with ogg files) and net game isn't available.

Only tested it on Citra (I'll test it on a real new 3ds only this week end) so can't say if the game speed is acceptable.

I'll post an official release thread in the next days.

Contentwise, it looks like it has everything, which is great. However, on my N3DS XL, the gameplay is a bit slow, but still playable I guess. On the XL, the text also is a bit small, but still legible. The one thing that bugs me though are the controls ingame. Pressing up on the D-Pad to jump just feels weird. Maybe add re-mappable controls?

Speed is a problem with games with a base rosolution of 640x480. Enabling music will make it worse.

Can do very little about this.

Keys are remappable, but jumping with up is not so unusual (at least with old Mario games and with old amiga games (as I learned from my Retroguru friends).
In modern games is usual to jump with the A button, but it's easy to get used to jump with UP. Anyway I'l lconsider a totally different mapping later.

I tested the game on my New 3ds and found only minor bugs, like option file saved in the sd root and the game freezing exiting. I'll need only to fix the music befor the official release.

Now I'm going to test in on my old 3ds, but already know that it will be very slow.

This summer I'll try to add multiplayer mode using localplay. Not an easy task, but let see what i can do.

N3DS user here. Just kicks me back to HBL.

Does this require Rosalina or new HBL or anything? Haven't gotten around to updating.
