Most of Luma's features you can use them with Rei + NTR CFW, plus ReiNand is more stable then Luma at this point.
Yeah I feel Luma is trying to do a little too much on its own. Still a great CFW.
Not discontinued, just more focused updates rather than constant bug fixing and feature adding.
It's newer and faster than ReiNand, personal experiences

Really. It is more actively developed I can't argue that. Not so sure about faster though. More options yes and that is what created their userbase. Plenty of happy Luma users as well as happy ReiNand users.

Please stop spreading misinformation, I've actually been trying to help the OP and this CFW war bullshit needs to stop. ReiNAND is up to date, ReiNAND is still being worked, users should help the OP with ReiNAND.
I think I know the root of his problem and it's because he's trying to run ReiNAND with firmware.bin that doesn't work with 9.2. He simply needs to update either by restoring his emuNAND (which is hopefully up to date) or update using using Luma3DS, then switch back to ReiNAND.

The original creator, Reisyukaku, quit the scene. It's still being developed but Luma3DS *IS* ReiNand mind you that
Can I do that with an empty sd card? My buddy currently has his sd card at his home and we won't be seeing us until next weekend. If its possible on a blank sd card could you guide me so I don't mess up? ^^'
Also please don't get off topic here. This is not a thread about what CFW is "the best" or what their current status is. Its hard to find the messages of people that try to help me if 80% of the posts are off topic.
You can do this with a black SD card. You just need the cfw files to boot.
So try booting into Luma3DS first. If it boots, update to 11.4, then setup ReiNAND.
