Maybe this is Nintendo's attempt to fighting A9LH...nah, they are just going to use the same hardware as the New3DS and have all the same flaws. This is Nintendo we are talking about here.

All we have to do to ensure that this can be hacked is to push back the release date of sighax until after the release of the New 2DS XL/find an arm11 exploit for 11.4.

This is Nintendo we are talking about here. The same people who did nothing more than cram an old3DS into a stupid shell and call it a new system. This system is just going to be a new3DS in a stupid shell.

At least the shell looks nice, I guess.

I mean, some people were speculating that Nintendo was going to try and fix some hardware level bugs with the New 2DS, but seeing how they decided to reuse 11x16 decryption key after someone dumped it, it probably won't matter. Also, Nintendo could easily patch A9LH right now just by using a different decryption key, making installing it harder.

But they won't. Look at how it took them to figure out NATIVE_FIRM requirements

The new3ds has the same standard MSRP as the new2ds so who knows what may happen this Christmas

I thought the back cameras were gone, but they are actually on the bottom. Which means, you can't place you 2ds down to do AR. Oh, and only a small part of the hinge actually moves. So, the front camera sticks out when closed.

This has to be the dumbest idea ever. Nintendo should be wrapping up the 3DS to focus on the Switch, not prolong the console's lifespan with a new revision nobody wants. I also see that it has a hinge when the whole point of the 2DS was cutting down costs and removing failure points to make it more suitable for younger kids. If you want an N3DS, there are already two variants to choose from, nobody needs a third. Bad idea all around, but I'm sure that Nintendrones will queue up anyways just to own all the revisions. Oh well, at least it look stylish, I'll give them that.
