how is it a completely different game when:

Mario:
Peach gets kidnapped by bowser, your mission is to enter worlds collection stars and repeat then fight boswer and save peach; other than the levels its basically the same thing

Mario Bros:
Peach gets kidnapped by bowser, your mission is to enter worlds collection coins and repeat then fight bowser and save peach; other than the levels its basically the same thing

Zelda:
Zelda is kidnapped by Gannon, your mission is to enter dungeons, fight boss, repeat then take fight to gannon and save zelda.

but BOTW:
Zelda is kidnapped by gannon, your mission is to enter shit loads of repetetive shrines, do four repetetive divine beasts (whihc isnt needed) then take fight to gannon and save zelda.

Donkey Kong:
Basically the same as Mario Bros but your DK and collect bannanas and take your fight to K.ROOL

And im sure as that fan posted that image to try suggest them games are the same (fucking up only seeing the game name).

Uncharted:
As an action adventure game, yes its gameplay is the same, but its the story that each game is different, its not like your hunting down the gold of el dorado in every game now is it.

Killzone:
As an FPS game its gameplay is the same, but again each game has its own story.

The thing i have with nintendo is if you take away the recycled games they keep re releasing, what else is there........ nothing much really and i cant see anything impressive coming out this year or leading to next year.

so as i knew it would be the same ole thing again, another nintendo console with mainly its recycled titles and last gen ports (if that) and nothing else new or AAA from third parties that the other consoles are getting.

i actually do believe once the hype has died down the switch will fall and it will die a silent death, the only thing the switch has that made it seem better than it is, is again BS gimmick controllers and copied concept off tablets.

nintendo fail to grasp that gamers need fresh new games, nintendo only release the same shit all the time, third parties take a massive part in a console and release most of the games, which nintendo always lack.

if someone disagrees and thinks i am wrong, then kindly list these great AAA third party titles that MS/SONY console have got, thats also on nintendo..... because then they might see my point its very limited...... or knowing how nintendo fanboys are, they will hate the idea of having the option to play AAA title because they cant accept a bad thing for nintendo.

yet at the same time, nintendo fans are wanting RE7 which one post before had a fan wanting it and still assuming its going to happen because another BS fan site posted a suggestion would the fans want it, not it is coming and even when capcom stated its not coming, that fan still refused to accept it and said theres still hope.....

Maybe is beacause i come from ATARI when games just do not have an history and the game is what you do and how you do it. So for me, yeah i like story on games i really like it but the game itself for me, will be fun or not not based on story but based on mechanics.

The story add context, helps to get involved even could be a movie or novel like history but if gameplay is lame game is lame!

It's my point of view probably based on how do i start seeing the games

"Almost"

Don't forget that even XBL/PSN charge $60 yearly and their services aren't totally lag-free so getting your hopes up that Nintendo will go from 1 to 100 is a tad unrealistic.
I'm not expecting 1 to 100, but Ninty's online services in the past have been literally unplayable, and it's already a lot better than that with most Switch games online. I'm sure they're aware that if their paid service on Switch is no better than their free service on Wii U was, then nobody will bother subscribing.

Draw distance is better on MK8 Deluxe. They brought 5 new battle modes, 5 new charcters, new karts, improved online. The game runs at a smooth 1080p@60fps and finally fire hopping is hella gone. All of this on top of MK8 which is already a very good game.

Is practically the same game, not better textures or lighting, I think this decision was made in order to not be compromised in handheld mode, great video as always on digital foundry side

Nope, I swear draw distance is slightly better. Slightly but still. At least the flawless 1080p60 shows the Switch is much more powerful than the Wii U.

I think it is the case in this video, it was one o the weakness on the Wii u about the draw distances if you refer about the objects in the distance they look less blurry

To the naysayers, is anyone breaking your arm and forcing you to buy it? Does your wii-u copy somehow not work anymore? This is an opportunity for those that didn't buy it on the wii-u to get a better deal on it (as it does in fact have a bunch of added stuff) and for those that want the additional stuff to buy it. If you don't want the additional stuff, simply don't buy it. Problem solved.

:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2: You just realized that Switch was Wii U Pro? Again, it's the reason why I cant justify getting a Switch right now.
In the same sense that PS4 is PS3 Pro, yeah. That's kinda how console generations work.

Sure, if the Wii U lasted longer I'd give the Switch the same pass I gave Wii. Wii wasn't that more powerful than GameCube but the GameCube also enjoyed a complete generation. In the case of Switch and Wii U. Switch isn't that more powerful than Wii U but Wii U barely had a life. Not to mention all of these Wii U ports on Switch do not help. Switch is basically Wii U pro.

Wii wasn't that more powerful than GameCube

Actually it was. It was a bump of over 200mhz, as well as a jump in architecture. The GPU was significantly more powerful...the wii is more comparable to an original xbox (although even more powerful in some regards).

Wii U had a short lifespan because it sold like crap, it's not like Nintendo would've preferred that outcome if they had a choice. Switch is nearly twice as powerful and in a much smaller form factor, so for Nintendo that counts as a new generation. If Wii U was actually portable then I'd be criticizing them for changing too little in Switch, but of course it isn't.

I get that in numbers the Wii as two and a half times more powerful but in overall visuals the Jump from GameCube to Wii was not as drastic as the jump from PS2 to PS3.

People cant take mk8 deluxe as a new game because it isnt, its a "deluxe version" no diferent from a definitive edition, gold or game of the year edition that sometimes appear on next gen consoles like ps3 and ps4.

I know nintendo fans arent used to these types of editions but they exist on ps4 and xbox all the time just check definitive editions, deluxe or game of the year or even complete editions, that is what mk8 deluxe is an final edition with more content.

Im buying it but dont really see any changes... more additions which could have just been DLC anyway.

eh, they could have been....honestly this is a good opportunity for those that somehow didn't buy it the first time around (lack of wii-u or just didn't feel like shoveling out 60 dollars or whatever the MSRP is in your country) to buy it up and play it. Personally I'll probably buy it because my wii-u disc was destroyed and I didn't care to re-buy it after that. With all the content included, it's actually a rather good deal in my eyes - at least a better deal than re-buying the wii-u version.
