You just find out by re-making one code and calculating the offset. Also if you have the skills you can make a Python script like this

btw how do you find the flagpole's co-ordinates? Do you just get the position of the character when you hit the pole?

I placed mario next to one side of the pole and got his's coordinate's value and did the same with the other side. then I searched for all values between between the 2. After poking the value you have to restart the level (by dying) in order to get any change updated. These are just the spawning coordinates. However, there should also be direct ones (which I used to make mario riding a tree)Works for PAL

Mario's X coordinate is at 3CDA05E8. Y at 3CDA05EC and Z at 3CDA05F0
I was that massive goomba that ate a mega mushroom (another one of your hacks
) but I was still no match for creepypasta mario. Then, in purgatory (deep ), there was a creepypasta type of those stupid rabbits I can never get the green star from. Then, incomprehensible stuff happened like creepypasta mario and creepypasta blue toad fighting for luigi 
I did find that for the mid-flag coordinate a while ago.
[[0x378DAAB8] + 0x198] + 0xE4
Should work on any level, if the flag is loaded in the actual map.
