Do the following:
  1. Delete any bootNTR cia from your SD card
  2. Delete any ntr.bin from the SD card
  3. If you have it delete the following folder: SD:/Nintendo 3DS/EBNTR
  4. Launch FBI
  5. Go in title and delete every BootNTR you have (including Mode 3 and Selector)
  6. In fbi: go into remote install -> QrCode and scan the two following qr codes:
  7. fuvEOzz.png
    ZIJpSng.png
  8. Quit FBI and launch the Normal Mode (The icon without the 3 )
  9. Set default
  10. Select 3.3 (touch the screen)
  11. Wait for it to return to home menu and launch your game

Note that sometimes, it might crash, in this case, just reboot and try again.

oh come on, its not that hard, you have to think in a logically way.
As Nanquitas said, if you don´t plan to use the selector then this is not your thread then.
you should better learn some 3DS basics.
FE: NAND/ARM9 Processor/ARM11 Processor/ARM11 Kernel etc...
and then you can come back to 3ds hacking.

thats just a fiendly advice

and btw I´m half Spanish/German

I've noticed something rather weird with the reduce blue light thing. As of update 2.7.1, when I use the reduce blue light function the top and bottom screen will flicker between having reduced blue light to having halfway blue light and halfway reduced bluelight. This is really weird and I never noticed it in the previous version.
That being said, it might not actually be the update that is causing this to happen. I'm using the clock overlay while I play so that might be the cause for this. I'm not sure though.
The attached picture will give you a better idea of the situation, as you can see, part of the screen is yellowish because of the reduced blue light but the other part isn't for whatever reason.

I can't do anything for any NTR's problems.

It's not part of BootNTR but part of the binary, which I don't have access to.
Cell9 tried to optimize the blue reducer, maybe it broke things for a few app.

Let's wait for a new version, maybe it will solve the issue. ;)

@Seliph the clock overlay does that because it refreshes the whole screen (top and bottom) when it updates it. The blue reduction function is trying to change the screen as well so they're fighting each other. Not sure if they were using a different way to reduce the blue light in it before (change the color in memory instead of constant updates?) if it didn't happen. I don't see it happening in 2.6 w/o an overlay, but I may also be blind.

@Distrance just turn off Windows Defender before you try to download it, copy it to your 3DS, then turn it back on. You can even make sure if you're paranoid @ VirusTotal.

Alright, thanks. I thought that would be the case

what do I do if this won't work after I tried this?
Put your 3DS in a lockable box, lock it, put it at the back of a cupboard, then swallow the key. Then move on with your life, 3DS hacking just isn't for you.

I keep trying but I don't know what to delete and what version I download and what the folder structure is and I'm 14 and retarded
For a 14 year old retarded Dutch kid you've got a pretty good grasp of the English language. Your English is better than half the people here who claim to be from countries where English is the primary language.

Maybe that's where you should focus your energy instead of 3DS hacking. Learn a few more languages (mandarin/Cantonese would be a good place to start) and become a translator for Dutch or English businesses.

Guys, I'm desperately need of help. I've looked at various forums and post in this site and reddit for the past 3 days. I've tried several of their methods. The first time, I used the latest bootntr.cia from https://github.com/44670/BootNTR/releases but I was getting "param is missing: ntrConfig->PMSvcRunAdd r." I tried putting the firmware.bin and cekt into the Luma folder according to the 3ds.guide but I'm still getting the same error. Then I switched to BootNTR Selector using PabloMK7 cia. Now I'm getting:

#Loading 3.4 ...
Load failed !
#Firmware unknown
#Detected firm 2.50.11

This is the latest BootNTR Selector version 2.7.2 btw. I also tried FONZD but ends in the same result. My o3ds 10.5.0-30U with Luma3DS v6.6 (up to date)
The configurations are:
  • Autoboot SysNAND
  • Use SysNAND FIRM if booting with R
  • Show NAND or user string in System Settings
Thanks
