Hacking Decrypt9 say my console is USA but I bought it in EUR

If nothing else you can throw your 3DS in the trash can and buy a new-3DS XL or some thing, at least you will have a bigger screen and stuff.. But you would think that if you can still boot in to luma settings and decrypt9 etc that there would still be a way to save your 3DS some how.....just not sure how..

Although if you ever do get an other 3DS in your life, I might recommend backing up your NAND next time so you might be able to avoid a sticky situation such as this..

I prefer o3ds more 'oldschool' you know and don't worry if I buy another one I'll do a NAND backup and save it everywhere

Where did you bought the console? If it is a second-hand/refurbished one, the old owner could do a region changer before selling it.

If you didnt tried yet:
First, can you show us a photo of the console box? It has PEGI (EUR) or ESRB (USA) age rating?
Don't trust the sn from D9, it reads it from NAND and you could have modified it by mistake. Your console must be EUR. Also, you have the sn in the back side of the console. (I also think that there's a copy in the battery slot).

If your console is PAL:

1. DO A NAND BACKUP OF YOUR CONSOLE AS-IS. It wont save you from this, but... If you mess it even more, you will be glad of having it.

2. Redownload the EUR O3DS 9.2.0 CTRTransfer and put it on a clean SD.

3. Do the CTRTransfer.

4. Reboot.

5. Change the secureinfo with Godmode9 (go to region changing on 3ds.guide for instructions) (or find somewhere a EUR Secureinfo_a file and inject it with Decrypt9)

6. (Do NOT do this, im asking to the readers if it could work.) If it doesnt boot after all...
A GW 4.5DG would help? He can load the menu from A9LH and doesnt need the cart for downgrading.

My bet is that the console doesnt boot due to a wrong Secureinfo_a.

It's PEGI, so, your unit is PAL/EUR. 100℅ sure.
You must put 02 (Not 01!) on Secureinfo_A (if you have B or C remove them, but do a NAND backup before) and your console should go back to life.

Yes. But MAKE A NAND BACKUP BEFORE. In case something goes wrong, you can restore it.
Also, remove B/C.

2.1.0 will never work if you are using Luma3DS. It is not able to boot the 2.1 NAND.

I think we are troubleshooting the wrong thing.

Everyone is hung up on regions but you said the original fault was a "format brick". How do you format brick an O3DS? It has a 3D slider.

You bought the console new, you modified it and ran homebrew/CFW and then you bricked it? We need to go back and fix the original brick.

We need more details from you.
