So I rewrote everything. Steelhax is more stable than it has ever been and the installer is working fine too now.
Just to clarify, are you saying you can't even update an existing steelhax install (via the save injector method) after 11.2 update unless you're on CFW or are you referring to people on 11.2 who have not yet installed Steelhax at all?
This works now too. There have been three steelhax versions now. The first one without paslr (worked the best), second one with a quick paslr fix (the most up to date right now, literally shit) and the one I have finished now. Users of the second version are going to be able to update to the newest version. Not sure about the first.

Hi!

Just to clarify. I have an old installation of Steelhax which worked for 11.1.0-34U. I then updated my N3DS to 11.2.0-35U which borked Steelhax. So now with the new installers, I can now update my existing Steelhax installation to make it work with 11.2? I don't have CFW or anything btw. Thanks!

The first version (which you have) might not be updateable. I updated the post. It's not up yet tho. I've heard that there is a chance for the paslr to put the memory in order as it was before paslr. So if this occurs you are going to be able to update but it will take a lot of tries. The new version however (which you have updated to at that point) is going to work every time you start it tho.

I tried to install it using the Steel Driver Installer, but when ever I try to launch it, it just immeditely crashes and then it reboots the system. Now I can't even get into the game at all. I am on version 11.0.0-32 New3DS

I've been using oothax for the past week or so but I wanted to start using a secondary exploit so I wouldn't have to constantly take the oot cartridge in and out.

However when I try to run the exploit installer it just leads to a black (top) and yellow (bottom) screens. I actually also tried to run a handful of other exploit installers and the same thing happened. What seems to be going wrong?

I'm trying to do something similar, specifically with 11.2 using Cubic Ninja as the existing entry point. (I want to get rid of my dependence on that cartridge and cash it in on e-bay:P).
The installer hung in the same way (black on top screen, yellow on bottom screen).

EDIT: Did I misunderstand what "updated everything to support 11.2" means?

You are probably on 11.2. The readme tells you that you can't install it on 11.2.
Can't you guys read the readme as I said? There's a purpose for a readme file.

You probably forgot to replace one of the files in the steelhax folder. Just overwrite everything and remember to put the payload.bin file in there as the readme says. Also copy the new rop.bin file into the folder too.

Yeah the README is why I edited my question, asking if I misunderstood what "updated everything to support 11.2" means. What does it mean? (Hoping I'm not asking another incredibly stupid question).

Could you read me the first sentence of the readme? :)

I get it, the README says it won't work on 11.2. I guess it's also saying that some other component of the solution needs to be updated by someone else, and when that happens your part will work with it. I can't wait to learn more about all this 3ds hacking stuff (which I didn't even know was a thing until recently) so I can start asking smarter questions.

So I got a little problem and maybe @VegaRoXas can help me.
It following the Plailect's (already have done it for my o3dS).

So I followed the dsi downgrade guide and did the system transfer. Everything worked just fine. So I went to the next part 9.2.0 downgrade.
I've read the part about having dsiware installed might cause a softbrick, but I forgot to uninstall...
When I've ran sysDowngrader I got an error, and had to boot in to recovery and update to 11.2 :/

I still have Jagged Alliance and was able to downgrade NFIRM again. I also still have SteelDiver installed from the systranfer.
Unfortunately I can't enter homebrew... Menuhax is not working, and steel diver just shows a message "an error has occurred".
Browserhax not working also..

I've tried to past a folder "SteelHax" with code.bin, rop.bin and the payload for 11.2.0.35-E, and hold "B" when booting the game, but I get the same message...
Any way to solve this?

Thanks

EDIT: I've remembered I have my o3ds with homebrew and Ocarina 3d, I've got OOT3DHAX to work :) Thanks :)

So an error that I found while using Steelhax was that it was working fine, but when I removed my SD Card and edited my Pokemon save file, then reinserted it, Steelhax started immediately crashing and rebooting my console, and it kept doing this until I used Oothax to re-access homebrew and reinstall Steelhax. Was there any reason for this as this was quite inconvenient.

Removing the sd card shouldn't have anything to do with this issue. As you are able to use the installer please try the new version of it.

I don't know what the cause is actually. I reinstalled it and it was working fine when I went to bed last night, but now it's just crashing once again. I have the newest version installed but it just seems to become unstable after about 8-9 hours after its installation.
