was looking to switch over to using sysnand because my redNAND keeps getting randomly corrupted, which is nothing but a hassle, having to reinstall all the games again under the redNAND because they woouldnt play otherwise. My question here is this, is it possible to edit a file in the game data and have it play from the sig-patched sysnand instead of reinstalling them all from sysNAND? Thanks

I've just swapped from RedNAND to SysNAND and when trying to run games from my HDD it says the NNID was deleted and asked me to re-download the games, just deleted them all and in the process of reinstalling them all

I have installed haxchi, and it works fine with fw.img as default and homebrew launcher with holding A. I compiled the FW.img using your fork and when I launch it I get the IOSUHAX logo but then it just freezes. I used the coldboot make to build it.

I have not uploaded any changed system files yet, I just tried loading haxchi with your fw.img present expecting to see a system menu, but it just hangs. Did I do something wrong here?

Did you run any sign patcher before? Try runnimg haxchi after a clean boot Of the Wii u.

Ah OK, Of cource Of you use the colsboot one it will freeze because there is no syshax.XML add the syshax.XML (it is safe as far as you don't change system.XML) then it will work

It would be nice if someone could write down a better and more Comprehensive tutorial on this thing. I am too busy for doing that.

I think this tutorial is fine. Seems pretty comprehensive to me. The only thing that's missing really are the w.up and w.dl commands. Also maybe a sanity check that people could do by downloading the modified system.xml to make sure to matches the MD5 of their modified system.xml they stored locally. I don't know how necessary that really is. vgmoose replied to one of my posts making it seem like file transfers via WUPclient were unreliable. I took it with a grain of salt though because people on this site seem to way over exaggerate the dangers associated with coldboothax. Also, I heard that if you have standby enabled that would lead to a brick. If that's true that should definitely be in the guide as well.

I think the only thing missing is a guide on how to download and upload the system xml files - I tried with the ftp server but couldnt navigate to the folder so guess I have to use wupclient etc - I will have a look at this later, the rest is straight forward as it is.

Appreciate your time spent on this and support you are giving.

Ideally you should first use the normale cfw iosuhax fw.img. So that you can use ftp_everywhere.
