So yesterday my flash drive crashed and I am redownloading the games to install for later.
When I reinstall the games, am I able to put the games saves on the system memory?
If yes, in case my flash drive crashes again, and I fix it up and reinstall the games on it, will the games load the old save files kept on the system memory?

IIRC you can't separate the save from the rest of the files

I'm going to buy a new HDD for my WiiU and usb-games, I wonder if the games have the same size after installation on the WiiU-HDD? For example "Mario Kart 8 eur" is 4,1GB install-files. Will "Mario Kart 8" take up 4,1GB on the WiiU-HDD or will the game be bigger?

It should just be the same size. Smash is 13gigs on the system memory and my flash drive.

So the Wii VC games need separate tickets right? I think they would seeing as they eshop wii games have different build sizes then the actual Wii disks

Wii VC needs iosu to install. No way to bypass that. They have different builds sizes as disc dumps has unused data on them. The wii vc gets rid of that by trimming the games

Gotcha, I mean I even compared the ACTUAL disk data (not the full ISO full of dummy data) of a game VS the wii VC conversion and they were off by a few hundred megs. Looks as though the eshop versions of a wii game have some emulation files built in. Just an interesting tidbit.

They have some mods in place for maybe bug fixes and to make it boot a special vwii mode which has gamepad support over classic controller. (Why didn't they just do that in the first place when they made vwii?)
