3.What i mean is that it says "please set the path to at9tool and Scaleform Video Converter" then 5 seconds later "You must select a9tool.exe!"
How do i specify the filepath for these two programs on "IAVT_Mod_Tool.exe"? Do i need to type it down in the .config file?
4.About this i meant if it's possible to just manually create the songs folders and move the .usm files around with Vitashell instead of using FTP since my router sucks.
I've never seen anything like that. Unless you're accidentally hitting something, I'm not sure what's wrong. You can set the path manually in C:\Users\<your_user>\AppData\Local\IAVT_Mod_Tools\IAVT_Mod_Tool.exe_Url_randomstring\1.0.0.0\user.config
It's an XML file, just set the value for the at9toolPath and usmPath there. As for the song folders, you want to use the same video file for multiple songs or something? I still don't quite get it, but yeah sure, you can do that, just rename the file with the ID of the new song (IA_PV_MXXX.usm XXX is the ID)

The \IAVT_Mod_Tools folder doesn't even exist (i've looked in every other user folder).
Ive tried redownloading it, restarting the .exe several times, even running it as administrator, it always asks to set the path, then after i hit ok i get the error.

Huh, that's really strange. Only thing I can think of right now is check if you have .NET Framework 4.5.2 installed. I'm going to look into this more when I have time. What happens if you click OK on that error?

I just tried reinstalling Net framework 4.5.2 it since i already had it, and nothing changed; I guess something's wrong with my PC since other people got it to work.
Tomorrow i'll try installing it on a different PC.

This is an absurd idea but bear with me.

Is it possible to write a convertor for notes for Edit Data for Project Diva F 2nd?
The notes, bpm can be taken from it directly. All the notes can be on a single track.
As for the curves and circles they also can be taken from the Edit Data. The size of circle can be reduced. The note location from edit will determine the circle location. The angle of note will determine the angle of track.

Using this will help making precise notes charts. Even lyrics can be ripped.

I was looking at Edit data through hex editors and it looks straighforward too. This way we can use the Editor to make the notes charts for IA / VT.

Sadly I am not a programmer. I only know how both the editors work and just let my imagination run free.

If you know how the Diva F 2nd works, you can contact me (Are you perhaps TomBerri on YouTube?) and we can discuss what can be done. It's definitely interesting.

I will certainly do that. Let me start the documentation. I just make lots of edit data and just compare it via hex editors. This way I can document what do they mean. Location, Note Type, Angle etc.

I have been going through your tutorial and I do not understand this part.

Code:
MID file contains a "textMeta" sections that contains all the beats of the song. It is always track 0. It is generated by the converter even in the dummy file, so you don't have to worry about it.

I still do not understand what textMeta is used for?

I am not Tonberry.

Honestly I'm not quite sure myself. It's just every single beat of the song. It doesn't really affect anything, but it has to be there

I managed to make it work on another PC at last, but still this appears to be a lot more difficult than i thought and way beyond my rather limited knowledge, with command lines, video filters, hex editors and whatnot. Unless the whole processess are simplified and/or explained step-by-step i doubt you're going to get more people interested. Then again this project is really incredible and it would be great if you managed to make an actual beatmap editor, like that other guy said. Good luck.

Not sure what exactly is hard here. I actually tried to simplify as much as I can (no manual file editing, no manual video/audio converting and so on and so on). Everything is explained in my video, and the conversion stuff is pretty easy. I admit, the way to get the curves and tracks looking nice is rather confusing at this point, but that's it. I'm not sure what hex editors or video filters are you talking about...

I did some testing with textMeta and found that it made absolutely no changes in the song even if I delete all of them except one. There needs to be a atleast one branch.

My note chart looks like this and works without any issues.

Code:
[
   [
      {
         "event":"textMeta",
         "data0":0,
         "data1":0,
         "duration":0,
         "text":"beat,4",
         "tick":0,
         "time":0,
         "time_on_key_up":0,
         "track":0
      }

   ],
   [
      {
         "event":"note",
         "data0":60,
         "data1":80,
         "duration":120,
         "text":"",
         "tick":305,
         "time":0.219,
         "time_on_key_up":0.30520689655172417,
         "track":1
      },

and notes continue........................

I made a note chart script in excel. It allows for easier making of notes. just set the parameters and copy and paste the text below it for the notes into the MID file. Will make the whole process faster.

Cool stuff! BTW, in Diva F 2nd is the editor unlocked at the start or later in the game? If later, maybe someone can upload a save file? I want to take a look at it, but don't have time to play if it's unlocked later in the game.

It is unlocked from the beginning in both Diva F and F 2nd. But for Vita version of Diva F 2nd you need to download it for free separately from PSN Store.

If you want I can upload a few decrypted edit notes tonight.

Sorry if you have answered this, but in order to create my own map I have to first create it in the OSU editor correct?
Sure, you can do that. It's not the only way to make it though. I explained it in the "How to add curves and stuff" tutorial. That is if you want to create your own beatmap. You can use all of the already existing osu beatmaps as well.

I started using my script for making the notes to See the lights and I realized how tedious the whole thing was. In case I make a mistake I will have a hard time finding the correct not or want to change the BPM of song I will have to do over the whole notes. So thinking this I revised my excel script. Any changes can also be done quickly such as track or you want to change the BPM of the song. Each note is added as a row and notes can be added in between also. Can be filtered in case you want to make double notes. The whole note chart can be made in there and when its finished it can be directly copy pasted into MID file.

If u will notice in the file is 1st minute of see the lights note chart.

Also as promised attached are the EDIT data for Project Diva F 2nd. This is my full folder.

Huh, Edits work differently than the actual songs in Diva I guess. I need to play around with it myself to see what can be done.
Very little progress on mod installer, I'm just starting to figure out how to program for Vita and how I would like the installer to work. In order to not repeat my mistake with the converter, I need some beta testers. If anyone is interested, contact me.

Does anyone know of a good place to get osu! tracks with 720p and upwards video quality? because most of the stuff on the osu! website would run horribly pixelated on the PS Vita.

HOW TO USE osu_converter:
1) Prepare .osu files of the beatmap you want.
2) Launch IAVT_osu_converter.exe from command line with parameters: osu_file.osu output.txt <offset>.
3) Rename the output file into "MXXX_DY_MID.txt" where XXX is the ID of the song (you can go to /outputfolder/resource/common/songs/ and see it there), Y - difficulty (1 - easy, 2 - medium, 3 - hard).
4) Place the output files in /outputfolder/resource/common/songs/ and transfer everything to Vita.

I Did This but osu converter wont even open??. i have an osu file and i dont know how to convert it
