Hacking Can you transfer the game with USB Method to Console?

Hello,
So my question is: as many of you know now you can install fully functional games on to your wii u for free per WUPInstaller. I have tried it with Super Mario Maker and it works juuust fine, but what if i go to the settings and transfer the game on to the console, will it brick? Or will it work?
Any advice is appreciated

It works! You can move games from USB to console and from console to USB

ok that's great, but i don't understand why.

surely there are signature checks... no? at the very least the ticket is modified, this should be a problem.
with wiiu the ticket is miraculously not checked when starting a game? :wtf:

They figured out that changing the single byte of the ticket (to say it's an eshop install rather than a disc game) only affects a single byte of the signature (because of poor signature design/security). So if you modify that one signature byte correctly then you have a valid signature.
