bubble2k16, your emulator is SO AMAZING!! The sound is awesome and the most games works so PERFECTLY!! But there are some little things, that you maybe could fix? :)

In Super Mario Kart, outside of the track, it still doesn't display the track boundary correctly..

...or displays grass (?)...

..or it just glitches!

Ok, it's not so bad, but it looks a bit stupid :P

And in Super Mario World, that uses this message-patch: http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=section&a=details&id=6863 (it is used by many smw hacks), the layer 3 corrupt somehow when a message shows up, or tries to show up:

First it looks like this

And then the layer 3 is corrupted everytime:

The game itself works perfectly fine, it seems to be just an error with displaying or something.

It would be so cool, if this could be fixed. But anyway, keep up the good work with that emulator ;)

First of all, hello everyone!
Bug reports for the following games(v0.6/v0.61):
-In Judge Dredd the HUD appears to be discolored

left: snes9x 3DS - Right: snes9x Windows

-Same effect in Batman Forever, the messages are discolored as well

left: snes9x 3DS - Right: snes9x Windows

-In wild Guns, the play area is discolored but the HUD is fine, strange(Blargsnes is still preferred for this game)

left: snes9x 3DS - Right: snes9x Windows
(Note that all of the games mentioned above worked completely fine(without color bugs) before the v0.6 update)

Emulator bugs:

-It is me, or the sound comes louder from the left speaker? :wtf:

@A Fireman
That's a mid-frame palette issue, probably broke qhen some optimization was done?

@bubble2k16
I noticed.....I notice everything......but it's really only noriceable when zoomed in close. Perspective Mode 7 (Fzero, SMK, etc) makes it hard to notice, and unless it's rotated while zoomed in, you may not tell. Super Metroid's ship cutscenes tipped me off on it.

Quick release with some bug fixes and new feature in v0.61: :)

- Fixed DSP bug that causes some games like Dragon Ball - Super Budoten 3, Umihara Kawase to mute. (Thanks to @Burrumon for pointing out)

- Fixed bug that doesn't stop sound from playing when saving to SRAM.

- Added option to hide FPS and unnecessary texts from the bottom screen.
Thank you very much @bubble2k16 i really appreciate it.

@Louiskovskie Super Mario All stars + Super Mario World works perfect for me use that

Wow, been really busy and all and there have been so many feedback over the past few days. I've only found some time today to reply to posts. Thanks to everyone who pointed out the emulation bugs. Those are the first things that I'll be looking at within my busy schedule. :)

@Shin Akuma - Clock Tower is developed by Human Entertainment Label and it's known to having some CPU-and-SPC700 timing issues in Snes9x. It's so sensitive that any faster or slower the codes in the SPC700 and the main CPU run a little off, it can cause the game to stop booting. Although the v0.6 release doesn't change the synchronisation between the main CPU and SPC700, it did make some modifications to the DSP core that might have interfered the speed in which the codes in the SPC700 chip run, thereby throwing off the sync and causing the game to stop booting. Call it less-than-ideal programming by the developers, but us emulator writers have to coax it into working. I'll have a look at it to see what can be done. In the meantime, you may just have to stay with v0.51 first until I can sort out the problem. But it's great that you brought this up, and I can now have Clock Tower (and probably some other games released by the same dev) as part of my test games before releasing the next version. :)

@Louiskovskie - Thanks for pointing this out. Like Clydefrosch, I've always been testing the first stage without issues and I assumed the rest didn't have problems. Correct me if I am wrong, it turns out that the stages with the buggy textures only appear in the Koopa Castle stages. I'll have a look at it also to see whats wrong. And one more thing to add to my test plan.

@A Fireman - Thanks for pointing the color problems. I test Judge Dredd before every release and never actually knew Judge Dredd had a problem! :rofl2: (I've never really placed the actual game before on another emulator you see) But they can be quite easily fixed. So far already fixed Judge Dredd, Wild Guns in my development copy and it seems to work fine. I'll have all 3 three games in part of my test list before any release too. Later on, if necessary, I may consider placing this as a setting so that if game colors don't look right, you as a player can force the emulator revert to a more accurate, but slightly slower renderer. Many games don't require this accurate in-frame palette change, but in case some of the colors are off, at least there's a way for the player to fix it.

@elcampeon4000 - You should download v0.61. This version fixes the Super Budoten 3 sound.

@tatundria - As Clydefrosch said. I'm not making autoboot versions as of now. As you can see, there are so many more important things to fix.

@DiscostewSM - Yes, good that you noticed the Mode 7 zoom-in problem. Makes want to fix it badly now. :rofl2:

Anyone else experiencing the left-speaker-louder problem? I run the 3dsx and cia versions on my O3DS and never experienced this problem.

As far as ROM patches go, I'll put them on low priority. As you can see there are still a number of stuff to fix. :lol:
