Thanks, this worked for me, but my files wasnt corupt^^.

I have nzip the archive within the server itself (it's a linux server, no anti-virus can delete there something ^^) - but the error was the same!

I saw, that the link of loadiine.ovh was a normal (no secure one, no https..), so I activated http for my subdomain I posted above and e-voilá it funtionating 100%.
It seemed that the package can't handle https-requests (will try with my xampp) or maybe it doesn't like my LetsEncrypt SSL-Certificates I have on my server.

EDIT: https://<my-ip>/... doesn't work but normal http works fine.
Maybe it depends on the exploit itself, that we can't use https for that, or? ^^
Interesting. I'll fool around with Windows and see if I can run with https

not the new release.
I tested it before it's added to the first post and it worked (except when direct linking, which was strange, but no user will direct link if there's an interface :P )
Yeah, welcome back - hope you could enjoy them.

Directlinking and bookmarking should work now, too. But it is only tested on three other 5.3.2. If it would not work for you i've also made a 100% buffering payload instead that we can test, but i think we wouldn't need them and it will work for your 5.3.2 baby :P with the current ones.

Yeah i had the same problem while testing around with 5.3.2 glad you can confirm this for newer firmware, too. I'm also using a let's encrypt certificate that is not known by the WiiU. I think the package can handle https-requests but maybe not https-requests for unknown certificates (5.3.2 can). @Kafluke you should consider that when doing your tests. I've fixed it the same way you did, by using a subdomain. I thought i have also fixed the problem then but i have to retest it, maybe we can then fix the 5.5.1 the same way, too. By the way, is your hoster "all-inkl.com"?

Edit1: As i have already suspected, https (let's encrypt certificate) + 5.3.2 is working for me. There are only 2 ways i've could fixed that. Either the minibuffering function or the remove of the menu.json/javascripts.

So the question is - did you have tested your hosting with the mp4 files or the index.php - or both? If you've only tested with the mp4 files, try the index.php because they are buffering the mp4 files first.

https://yourserver/hbl/index.php

Edit2: @Kafluke If you need a webspace to test (including https let's encrypt certificate) i can give you a ftp-user to my hosting.

Weird.. I myself am hosting it on github, and I have https activated. No problems on my end. I suppose not all types of SSL encryption work or something.

Yeah I know, but even this issue is fixed now. Besides, you never know, some people like to bookmark the direct link apparently

I tried something out:
I uploaded a normal video (.mp4) to my server and run it via http: no problems.
but via https: an error as occured.

Can't try it wih an other SSL-Certificate - but in my opinion it's an failure/error with the WiiU browser itself.
It can't handle https-requests (maybe especially for the videos, but maybe also other files) with unknown/untrusted SSL-Certificates correctly (such like self-signed ones but also Let's Encrypt ones,
because the WiiU doesn't know that new free-based variant).

I tried (after cookie-cleaning) with the index.php and no it loads not, sorry.
Only pure http.
Do you mean my hoster? No it's php-friends.de. xD I own a vServer

You are on 5.5.1E right? Maybe @Kafluke or @Madridi can test that.

Have you also tried http://loadiine.ovh/kafluke ? It's the same package to exclude the error on the APK side.
You can also "host" this other "all-in-one package" with the APK to test if thats working for you.

There are also payloads that including Loadiine, so you have to ensure that your files on your WiiU-SDcard are up to date.

I'm not sure what a game not loading have to do with self hosting..
That's a loadiine problem, not the host.

All the host does is run the exploit, then either HBL or loadiine., the rest is up to whatever was loaded

It doesn't work at all here. I get into the pages but if I select the hbl/index.php I get
File could not be loaded, error 122-1209.
When I use 551hbl.mp4 I get
Video could not be loaded. Do you want to refresh the page? Error 122-2818.
