Sticker Star is an excellent game. You're not a true Paper Mario fan if you talk shit about it and Color Splash!

I'd say it is a good game, just different than the older games. It does have many of the things about Paper Mario, well, Paper Mario - turn based hammer-and-jumping battles with quirky humor and puzzles. It just lacks other elements fans love from the older titles, like all-new characters ala X-Nauts and Count Bleck, partner characters ala Koops or Goombella, RPG elements like FP (basically like a MP) or long sprawling stories. Instead, the series has been changed for better or worse to become something new on its own, in comparison to the Mario and Luigi series, and has recently been focusing more on "Paper" than RPG elements, which is a rather neat change in my opinion - there wasn't too much emphasis on "paper" elements before.
I'm not saying it's better (or worse) than TTYD or SPM or PM64, just a lot different than them.
Also, it has hax. TTYD didn't have hax!

An excellent option since Nintendo never pulls their own games from eshop.
The game itself wasn't really as bad as I thought it would be based on the horrid reviews. It would have been a greater disappointment at full price. There was so much obtuse bullshit required to progress at times that I would just look it up in a guide rather than attempting to figure out whatever nonsense was required.

Color Splash Investigatiors! Fits very well for the game since it's a mystery game.
Anybody know if the exploit itself could be patched in future firmwares, not just in a re-release of the game? I already have a9lh so I'm only interested in doing this if a friend ever needed homebrew, but if that ends up being later (say they update to 12.0 or something) would there even be a point?

Then I realize how much this shall hurt the game for just being used as an exploit, mwehehe. Then I realized that people are going to start buying the game more. Then I am shown how much Nintenty are sneaky bastards.
