I just tried it again. It worked, but my 3DS's wifi was turned off.lpp itself does that ime
try CHMM2 and you'll see what I mean
Exited StarUpdater, turned my wifi back on, and it's laggy again.

Yeah, I've known about this but can't seem to figure out why it's so laggy. I made it way better than before by using the pad/oldpad system that checks if the key was changed before going through the whole list, but it's still not great.Nice to see this have a thread!
I recently updated from rxTools to Luma using This guide. The only problem I've run into is with StarUpdater, for some reason it's laggy. Like, it takes a second or 2 to process my button inputs.
I'm using a old 3DS. Is it because StarUpdater was made with the new powerful hardware of the new 3DS, or could this be fixed?
Part of the problem with this is that I can't reliably figure out what causes it to be laggy like you described.I just tried it again. It worked, but my 3DS's wifi was turned off.

If i were to take a shot in the dark, I would say that for some reason StarUpdater is connecting somewhere using wifi when in the main menu, when it should not be.Part of the problem with this is that I can't reliably figure out what causes it to be laggy like you described.
Well, RIP. I just realized it's downloading the version information every time you move the cursor, which would definitely cause the lag. Give me a few minutes to fix.If i were to take a shot in the dark, I would say that for some reason StarUpdater is connecting somewhere using wifi when in the main menu, when it should not be.
That, or the wifi just takes up a bit of the 3DS's usual resources.

Follow this guide here to manually upgrade: https://github.com/AuroraWright/Lum...ade#upgrading-from-arn-43-or-older-to-luma3dsNice work, but hey i have noob questions here,
will this work even i have older version of Luma3ds? like when its still named AuReiNand.
my o3ds is under 4.2 just before the big update of 5.0 going Luma.
EDIT: also from plailect's guide, so its A9LH updated sys
ThanksNice one man
How do you build this? I've never had to build a lua thing before for 3DS.Just pushed a new commit that should fix my oversight, Can't build it now because reasons but if someone wants to test it it's there.
Yes it installs the new ciaSo probably a dumb question but if I'm using the CIA instead of the regular version does updating the updater download and install itself back as a CIA or how does that work?
Anyways seems like a great app hopefully in the future you can make it have a disclose bar animation and maybe an eshop or more 3ds ui like theme instead of just black with colored text. Also I'm not sure if it's possible but it would be cool if it some how sent notifications in the 3ds home menu that there is a new update and clear the notification after you performed the update. Keep up the awesome work!
