Stupid question maybe.. I am a fullstack JS developer, I also do development in Java, PHP and Python. In the web exploit, could I do my own stuff in these languages? Or how are these exploits used?

I linked to the sticky you are talking about several times, I have read it several times. I just dont understand it. What else do you want me to say? :P

This for example:

"- Latest WiiU firmware : 5.5.1
- Latest safe WiiU firmware version: 5.3.2.
- Some WiiU backups can be played on firmwares 5.3.2 and lower, using Loadiine.
- IOSU is being developed for firmwares 5.5.1 and lower.
- Stay on 5.3.2 if you want to use current exploits.
- Stay on 5.4.0 if you want to use mp4 exploits with loadiine GX2 (not all homebrew ported yet).
- Stay on 5.5.1 if you want to play retail games online while you wait for Hykem's exploit.
- Don't update if you want to use current of future exploits."

What is IOSU? (As I understand it its some kind of firmware tweak, realeased on Github because the original dev want to share it since he normaly do 3DS), but thats all I have found about this? Have I missed something? What is this?

"Stay on 5.3.2 if you want to use current exploits." What are concidered to be the "current exploits"?

As I have understand it the loadliine GX2 is whats most interesting as of right now(I might be wrong?), but what are these reffered as "mp4 exploits"? I thought there only was a web exploit at first..

One of those questions is LITERALLY answered in what you posted. Give it a few years and come back. This is a little higher then your skill level I am afraid. We all start somewhere but this is out of your ballpark my friend.

The websploit basically runs Assembly (and C/C++ by extension) so there isn't really a way to run anything Java-based (nobody's ported over the JVM). There is a Nintendo API exposed to Javascript in the browser that allows you to read various things but apparently it's pretty bad and doesn't follow web standards (event cancelling etc). Take a nosey at that here if you want. Honestly, if you're planning on making stuff for the Wii U learning C is the way to go. Having gone from Java to C myself, I can tell you it isn't as hard as it seems. If you want OOP stuff you can always go to C++.

Thanks for the info mate! Will look this up! :) I have done some C# in the past but never C or C++, never to late to start I guess ;) Will start have a look at the JS/API seems interesting!
