Huh, that is weird. And you can hoe it at any time (even when it's green?) and walk on it to harvest it?

Currently working on a beta 2.1 build to fix that stuff, I guess I forgot to add that stuff in. I'm also updating all of the libraries I use for the game (ctrulib, sf2dlib, and nihstro) to their latest versions, which I hope fixes that rendering issue because I have never seen that before.

After your done that, can you add a save feature? Or are you gonna wait till its all finished?

Saving/Loading will be my main focus for beta build 3, which will come out next weekend. It's not a hard addition to make, but it may be a little time consuming to make sure that everything works correctly.

OK! Good! You should put that in the start menu! With "Save and quit" And " Save and continue!"

The text in the inventory and crafting looks like it's scaled down a bit, and is somewhat annoying to look at when against the very blue background of the inventory. Is it possible to "fix" the text by making it more pixel-y (for lack of a better word), or just change the color of the background?

I know what your talking about, I'll have it fixed in the next build.
Could you move the debug information from the top screen to the bottom?

Sure, that would be a better place for it anyways.

I will release the source code when the game is completely done and bug-free.

Why wait until then? If you release the source code now, there will be more people who can fix bugs and add features. And if you don't want to accept outside help, releasing the source code doesn't make it so you have to.

Beta build 3 is now available! I've been pretty busy this week, so the only thing I could get done is Saving/Loading which has been a feature people having been asking for a while now.

When you now select the "Start Game" option, it will bring you into a new file menu. Here you can generate a new world, or load up an old one! Yes, you can have many save files. Each world file (.wld) is around 160KB in size, just so you know.

To save a file, you just simply bring up the pause menu and select the "Save progress" option. You can then load up a file from the file menu. You can delete a file by pressing the delete button (by default 'X') in the file menu. If you die, you go back to the last instance you saved. If you defeat the Air Wizard, you will get a special crown icon on your save file indicating that you won the game. You can keep playing your file, even after you defeated the air wizard.

If there are any bugs/crashes/corruptions, please let me know as soon as possible.

Change log:
Beta Build 3:
+ Added Saving and Loading to the game!
+ Added new menu input "delete", to delete saved worlds. The default button is 'X'.
+ Added a "Save progress" option to the pause menu.
