I can give you a modified update pack that don't update the mset. But you will still have to reinstall the mset exploit.

I just forgot that I had an account on this useful forum, as it was a long time ago that I didn't use it.
Before all, thanks to people whose are doing such a great job with rxtools and all other stuff around for our 3ds.
So, here is my question : I'm on rxtools 3.0b8 on a old 3ds downgraded to 4.5, emuNand 9.9 working great and mset exploit is already functioning, I can access rxmode with dsprofile exploit, and now, I need to know how I can update rxtools to the latest build. The fact is that I don't have Gateway, sky3ds and/or cubic ninja, and when I see the files in new builds, there is such changes that I'm not sure what I've to do.
Can anyone help with a step by step ?

You need a DS flashcard to launch a .nds (or sudokuhax).
You can also try to use this rxinstaller.bin and copy (not cut) the code.bin that's into \rxTools\sys to rxTools\system
I think that you can update with a .3ds through gateway if it's what you want to know. But I don't like this idea...
Update with a real cartridge (or sysUpdater of course) is better.
Nah, I'd be content with the 10E browser, if I could switch between RXtools / Gateway offline even if I need the DS flashcart to do it. Updating through a .3ds is not something I want to try.

Also you can't use the mset to launch the gateway menu on 9.2 (you have to be on 4.X) but you can launch it through the browser even with a 9.2.0-10 system.
DSTwo isn't blacklisted but blacklist isn't a problem anymore for DS flashcards.
Edit : For exemple I use an acekard 2i on 9.2

Whether Gateway would be launchable through the brower on 9.2 even with the 10E browser. I've got all the info I need now. Thanks.
I figured to install rxtools, booted rxmode on sysnand, applied rxinstaller.bin, but dsprofile exploit is not working, it just gives me error and the 3ds reboots. Not lucky, next time
