Hacking Want to switch from N3DS XL USA to JAP n3ds, gateway user looking 4 advice!

HI,

I currently have a:

New 3DS XL USA version on 9.2.0 using Gateway.

I Want a(planning to buy today):

Jappanese New 3DS (not xl) on 9.2.0

Would I be able to simply configure gateway on the japanese version and continue to use my USA roms and Gamesaves via Gateway on the Japanese 3ds?
I Might have to install a Cubic Ninja cia file to use RegionFour via ninjhax in the mean time that
Gateway releases the region free update, but would that be the only thing I have to do?

Should I know of any other road blocks in the way? Please advice.

Gw is region free so no need for ninjahax. All user data except nnid can be xor as long as the non xl isn't 8.1. All other data is copy and paste / sdf the cia

You will need a physical copy of jpn cn or oot

good news on the region free, but I forgot about jap cubic ninja... Dang thats going to be hard to find. Thanks for the reply! Very helpfull

I ended up buying OOTjap for 40$ the Jap Cubic Ninja is selling for 70-140$ , once I have it ready eith OOT ill spoof eshop and buy CN from the store. ...anyways how do you swap the region? Sysnand or emunad?
