Thanks @Roxas75 for your invaluable contributions to the scene, all the best & don't be afraid to come back and say hi!
I am using this rxTools, and I tried booting into Gateway classic mode and then tried rxTools again but I still get the black screen. I've tried to boot rxTools at least 15 times now with no luck, yet Gateway still boots emuNAND every time. This is what i wanna say, thanks.
It is said that you must ever install GW mset and run GW classic mode, so then you can get rx one running. I don't know why and not sure about it.
Sometime i would face such black screens too (after "Press R to menu"). It isn't very stable. if press R to enter menu then start emunand, it does boot. Then ok.
Do you mention this rxTools? Official Rx is now with sig-check patched, also emunand for O3DS.
So unlucky that i can't even believe. Well if you don't need those region-free and AGB feature, you could just fall back to use 2.5.2 instead.I am using this rxTools, and I tried booting into Gateway classic mode and then tried rxTools again but I still get the black screen. I figured it out. I deleted the rxTools folder on my SD card and it started working. So unlucky that i can't even believe. Well if you don't need those region-free and AGB feature, you could just fall back to use 2.5.2 instead.
I know the 2.6 is a little buggy (not so stable) now. Hope you good luck.
it was a short time but I appreciate your work on rxtools @Roxas75
*noob question*
forgive my lack of knowledge in this question... isn't pasta is coded to use arm9 and rxtools... arm11? not sure if I remember or used the right terms... so does that mean paste will switch to arm11? or the other way around?
Eh, i don't know really, since that's AlbertoSONIC's repo now. It could be start all over after create a new repo and upload, or he could delete the repo and contact Roxas for tranfer it to him. Well for the 2nd choice, our repo would be the downstream from it then. Whichever he choose it doesn't bother me too much.Features available in PastaCFW that aren't present in rxTools will get ported over to this codebase, as @AlbertoSONIC already said. It is probably much easier that way, given the fact that rxTools already supports the entrypoints for additional exploits. In the meantime, I guess that the compatibility with Ninjhax can also be improved.
@Syphurith Will the new project remain as a fork? I was working on a way to add the AGB BIOS (Nostalgia) patch to the AGB_FIRM source in rxMode.

It will die in the dark
But we'll port every feature (companion app too) so you won't feel the difference
I'm going to port pasta draw.c and pass botton screen offsets, which changes in every entrypoint. I still haven't tried anything, 'cause I have yet to get rxtools to compileI assume this means you'll be fixing the draw.c code so bottom screen can actually be used properly? My private build has a splash screen on the bottom screen. But it only works half the time (bottom screen remains white when it decides not to work) and breaks Ninjhax/MSET support. Bottom screen normally remains white in original build when booting from spider which is my primary entry point for rxTools.
The draw code seems unstable in Ninjhax. I can't display text on the top screen (during the splash logo anyway) without it being glitched. Most of the text is off the left side and some spills over onto the bottom screen somehow even though I hadn't written anything to bottom screen. Ninjhax version just behaves weird at the moment. Both pasta and rxtools start from an arm11 entrypoint and work on arm9 so no, i don't have to move pasta on arm11it was a short time but I appreciate your work on rxtools @Roxas75
