I got the jpeg animation working, but it will never be released.
The problem is that the last 4 to 5 frames aren't loaded fast enough so that the animation lags :(
I tested with the GRRLIB-Version used by Nintendont and the latest GRRLIB release

I thought you got the animation by having the BIOS in your directory. At least that's what I did and I think it works really well. I didn't realize there was a built in one. Out of curiousity, is there any reason why someone wouldn't want to use the bios animation and go for the built in one instead?

for example I own a Wii U and the pal bios is not compatible with it, but I like the retro feeling of the bios before the game is loaded. Thats why I use and update this mod :)

Thank you Abdallah. I am afraid I still can't update from within you mod. I am running version 341 and haven't been able to update automatically in the last 10 versions or so. Also now, I can't update manually. I get a
