Homebrew Suggestions on after receiving my r4i Gold

So I just purchased the NEW Nintendo 3DS and along with it an r4igold card. When I received it I installed the latest WOOD Kernel and did some research on this forums regarding home brewing as well as emulating.

What do all the experts and experienced hackers out here recommend I get started on first with my newly acquired equipment?

I wish I would have bought a DSTWO but they are all discontinued and I don't know if I would have been better off purchasing a 3DS Card.

I'd suggest DSCraft, Aperature Science, Eurotunnel, BloxavoiD, Rapid Roll, Fireworlds and there are many other great homebrew apps.

What are some of the most current best Homebrew Emulators out right now?

So if I have my r4igold which I'm using with my n3ds. Will 3ds Homebrew Emulators work on my r4igold? I'll have to come back and post what emulator homebrews I'm currently using on my r4i and n3ds.
