I Have a Question About Forum Rules

Are we allowed to give direct links to ROM Translations, our own games made based upon a game's engine, and things similar to that?
I mean, I know for sure that we're not supposed to post links to torrent/download ROM dumps, but I'm not sure about the ones mentioned above...

If it contains copyrighted code or data written by someone else that you do not have the right to redistribute, then you can not post it here.

If you have a translation that you've written up and tweaked yourself and you're only distributing the changes that you've made, not game data, that's fine. If you did an undub of a game that puts copyrighted audio from a different version of the game, that's not fine.

If a game you made off of another's game engine is on an engine that is legally allowed to be redistributed, cool! If you've made some groundbreaking mod to Pokemon Blue that completely changes the face of the Pokemon franchise for the rest of its existence, but still runs Pokemon Blue at its core and you want to distribute it all in one easy to use rom file, not cool!
