Well, I downloaded the Sonic one. The depth of the 3d has been changed. Icons are bit outward. Kind of weird that the background is just a 2d imagine, but would be fine if it wasn't so close up. No animations in the background. The music is alright.

Cool as a free theme.

Really having themes isn't really a feature of the 3ds if you have to pay for them
