In all seriousness, have you considered for a moment that there might be a reason for that rule to exist?
Long-ass signatures are a pain on small screens (ancient monitors, netbooks and, as someone already mentioned, cellphones). To be equal to everyone, there is a default rule for signatures to not exceeds x resolution. You can't pretend to be an exception from the rule. If you think that someone has a signature that's out of the allowed resolution just report them. There is a ''report'' button on every post.
When I wasn't old and grumpy I visited more forums, and users were out of their minds with their signatures. For my shitty PC and internet, watching that useless text that filled almost my whole screen and those huge images loading all over again made me disable them by default.
Also, it's standard to delete the signature and then inform you, not the other way around. It's easier and faster, and cuts time waste if you didn't log in today.

Why not take the matter up with p1ng himself if he was the one who removed the signature? As has been pointed out to you, the signature wasn't according to the size limits.

You should take a breather, it's no big deal it's just a sig I had mine removed to and all that happened was that I got a pm saying it was to big just like your signature.

Think of this place as if you're visiting your friends house you'd respect their rules and take off your shoes and put them by the door if asked wouldn't you? It's no different - Though I wouldn't mind seeing them add a code that automatically re-sizes images to forum rules so stuff like this doesn't happen

It's just the site rules that staff are following and keeping them in order, you aren't in any major trouble so I suggest taking a step back before things do get out of hand. Just go with the flow and don't try to fight it that much you really shouldn't make concerns like this public if you don't like p1ngs decisions then I kindly suggest talking to another supervisor such as raul or even shoot Costello a pm.

Let me ask you....Why don't you use spoiler tags for so much text?
You can name the spoiler tags you know, to give info about what is it in them for people to see if they want to....A giant wall of text in a signature can be very distracting or obnoxious for many users.

Let me ask you....Why don't you use spoiler tags for so much text?
You can name the spoiler tags you know, to give info about what is it in them for people to see if they want to....A giant wall of text in a signature can be very distracting or obnoxious for many users.

EDIT: I know it is a lot, It was a joke, also I don't use spoiler tags that much because I don't write that much stuff as far as I know (I only use spoiler tags for cited sources when it comes to reports), also I know the signatures can be a bit annoying sometimes because it is so big that why I don't use them because mine are huge. I am still a noob at that stuff.

Ok lol, also I try to make my sigs smaller in Photoshop CS6, but I can't so I just use basic text, I am still a noob in that department :rofl2:

I removed your sig and you restored it without my permission because you thought you were in the right.

Then I put your sig in a spoiler so you could still have the entire thing, but you complained that your 3ds friend code would not be visible. So then I said you can have your friend code outside the spoiler so everyone can still see it.

However you still thought you were in the right so restored your entire sig again.

So I removed your ability to have a sig.

You then PM me with this.
