In all seriousness, have you considered for a moment that there might be a reason for that rule to exist?look staff the others are only backing you up because there arse licking you, that sort of way don't do justice for me and gets you know where in life apart from being the dogs body on GBATemp., its sad and they know its sad for even doing it but just don't mention it!!! I don't arse lick anyone in this life apart from my sexy piece of misses who has a Golden Virginia, more addictive than crack cocaine!!!. Look I'm not going to go on about it but I'm not going to let it drop just like that but it was unfair and unreasonable, if you give me back my Signature rites then I will modify it and make it as small as what it is suppose to be in the rule book of GBATemp. So can we call it quits now and can I have my signature link back so I can work on it???
Long-ass signatures are a pain on small screens (ancient monitors, netbooks and, as someone already mentioned, cellphones). To be equal to everyone, there is a default rule for signatures to not exceeds x resolution. You can't pretend to be an exception from the rule. If you think that someone has a signature that's out of the allowed resolution just report them. There is a ''report'' button on every post.
When I wasn't old and grumpy I visited more forums, and users were out of their minds with their signatures. For my shitty PC and internet, watching that useless text that filled almost my whole screen and those huge images loading all over again made me disable them by default.
Also, it's standard to delete the signature and then inform you, not the other way around. It's easier and faster, and cuts time waste if you didn't log in today.
