If I were to use the standard FBA core vs the specific CPS cores to run CPS games, am I going to see a noticeable difference at this point?
Can you isolate the PGM portion of the FBA core into it's own core? I've done the math and several games should fit into memory, mostly shmups.
Also can you compile the MAME core?
How do you save video settings? Every time I boot it's always distorted at startup and I have to set the screen to 649*400. It saves everything but that in the settings.
Shame this multi-system emulator dose not support N64 emulation, Although the wii64 was good at the time but lag in graphics case of bad driver , Now with new nGlide if had source code and could be implemented into the emulator it self should work wonders on graphic issues .
New nGlide wrapper out not long ago: http://www.zeus-software.com/downloads/nglide
Saving resolutions has not yet been implemented.
Wii64 is supposedly getting an update "soon", in the mean time, there's Not 64, a mod of Wii 64 with many improvements.
That would be nice
There's a thread where emukidid mentioned that it's still being worked on, but take it with a very large grain of salt http://www.gc-forever.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1810
Thanks for the link randomizer, although looks like no new post since last year.
But your right pinch of salt.
The fact they do it all without frameskip makes it all the more better IMHO. GUI preferences be damned, RetroArch can't have a better GUI due to memory constraints
Well I would say that is opinionated, I LOVE the retro style GUI more than the others. Reminds me of the good old days.
No, that's what the authors stated specifically a while back, that's fact, not opinion. RetroArch uses no frame-skipping at all. The GX emulators did, hence why the had issues. They stated time and time again why they can't and it is due to memory constraints on the Wii. Needn't be so skeptical.
