The Vita sure has a ton of RPG games and I'm not a fan of that genre so it didn't suit me. 😅

I did use it a lot to play PS1/PSP games instead.
This is exactly what I'm doing right now, playing all the PS1/PSP games that I missed and I missed almost all of them. On top of that the homebrew ports, mainly classic PC games. When it comes to RPGs, that's very true. There are tons of them, but they're really good and even I (who doesn't like RPGs that much as well) finished all of them already.

PS1 games were the worst thing to do for the setup. Psx2psp, change titles, make covers and mess with dates and time of files and folders, because Adrenaline reads them in them like that. I manually redid over 500 games, at least with PSP there wasn't any problem (just changing dates).

Picked up my Kinect sensor for use with my 360 Slim, and bought Kinect Sports, DriveClub (PS4), Killzone (PS4), and Destiny (PS4).

I enjoyed the trial version of Destiny 2 so decided to get the original as it seems to be a bit better in some ways.

And Kinect? I actually had fun using it and I know the majority hates it.

Oh... Pacifiers for my nephew, the kid's just getting worse and more unstable, but he's only 5yo, after what he's done his mom will take him to a doctor because it just can't go on like this.

Want examples? Look up autistic kid screams/self-harm on YT and that'll give you an idea.

Have you tried RetroArch on Vita to play PS1 games? Converting all those PS1 games can be a chore.

Unfortunately, RetroArch doesn't utilize MIPS CPU so performance is terrible. That was the only way to go, so I had to do it, but I never, ever want to go thru something like this again. To the hell and back

It's nice Belz can move, but also looks kinda cheap. That wasn't cheap.
It's same quality as the normal Figuart, it's an exclusive variant and has some extra stuff like the base.

https://tamashiiweb.com/item/14601/?wovn=en

This cost me 110€, let's say 60 for the game, the other 50 went for the figure, steelbook, art cards and exclusive dlc.
I'd say SE's CE are way worse.

I'm guessing the game doesn't have the anime opening? :/

Don't recall tbh. Only installed and tried it out, been too busy with Stellar Blade, that game is seriously addictive. >.>

I ordered a new enclosure for the dart frogs I just got. It's an Exo Terra Frogs and Co. 18"x18"x18", some substrate for it, a couple of bags of dried leaves for them, and two plants: a Monstera adansonii and a Philodendron white princess. I had a gift card I received for Christmas last year, and I found one from the year before that I never used. My sister gives me gift cards for Christmas every year, and I forget about them until I find them a year later. So I ended up paying $45 for everything.

I have some other plants I can use in the tanks, but I need to buy Gorilla Glue and wood to make the custom background.

I want to give them a proper home that looks nice. Their current tank looks nice, but I want to give them something nicer. I'm going to set up the tank this weekend and let it establish over the next month or two.

I decided to put all of my stupidly large games like GTA5 onto an external SSD. I don’t play them enough to keep them always installed but also don’t want to download them every time I want to play them. So I decided to buy this small USB-C cable and some velcro to keep it attached when I want to play games off it. I also put some cute stickers on it and on Dazzi (I named my Steam Deck after my favorite Pal, Dazzi)

Well this is a freakishly cute Mini PC! Bought this one myself, it's the cheapest version of AYANEO's AM01 series. Gotta say though, so far I'm reaaaaaally not impressed. I'm hoping it's just the Windows setup not agreeing with the fairly low power 3200U inside, but it might be the worst Windows experience I've had to date.

The AYANEO software that comes pre-baked on it barely runs too, it's like nobody from the company actually tried the software on-device beforehand. I can see it doing better with some kind of retro-focussed Linux build, but it's still annoying since this is sold as a Windows PC. I wasn't expecting much, but the out of box experience feels barely functional.

It also corrupted the folder I keep with all my benchmarking tools in it. My Goddddddddddddddddd.

Just bought one of those Club Nintendo Wii Remote holders, I haven't been the same since.

Put on and tighten the wrist strap.
Hold the Wii Remote securely and do not let go of it.
Use the Wii Remote jacket.

Let's see...

Recently purchased a DSi XL (red) screens with no scratches (that made me want it even more), and a PS4 OG "Digital Edition."

Even if the firmware of that PS4 isn't 9.00 or less it'll still be used for gaming.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
    +1
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
