Apparently the fonts will be changed for the Switch/PS4 versions: https://www.thegamer.com/final-fantasy-pixel-remaster-font-change-playstation-switch/

I quoted the wrong person above, I meant to quote this post.
I had tried making cheats for giving the player say 999 Master Balls or Rare Candies, but it seems like I can only do so with items I have already obtained. So while I can give myself 999 Potions, I have to wait to actually get the Master Ball in order to change how many I have of them (or I can...
Big thanks for @Ruimusume for providing the list of the Hex values I needed.
This is a modified version of the 1.0.1 Scarlet cheat from the first page, with every legal Pokémon added to be caught. Other formes and cheats will be added at a later point, but for now this can be used to catch any...

I have not tested it hardly at all, but this is a modified version of the 1.0.1 Scarlet cheat from the first page, with every legal Pokémon added to be caught. Kinda. Scarlet is doing...
Can you open it in a hex editor like HxD, and post a screenshot of the beginning of the file here? That'll at least help identify what kind of file it might be.
Also, what tools have you tried to use, if any?
This does mean that the Gen4 remakes of the Pokémon games is the best selling remakes of all time (as well as outselling all "3rd" versions ever made). Though to be fair, all of the main switch games have sold very well, with Sword/Shield being the 2nd best of all time.
It's an OK game, but great story and really good dialog. Sad to see this go. I do at least recommend going through the main story on YouTube.
They were just starting to roll out the next set of boss fights (the 1st of a set of 5), and not that long ago posted "to 2022 and beyond". So the...
So I've been out of the DS-emulator-for-pc loop for a few years now. What does desmume still have over MelonDS these days? (Disregarding controversy and stuff like that, I already know about those.)
I loved playing this. I remember fondly taking advantage of GR Mewtwo ability to boosts Dark Pokémon attack damage working on the bench, allowing Dark Raichu and Dark Clefable to wipe the board.
Actually, this reminds me of this article covering the old format of pre-gen 3 cards. Don't remember...
Here's a good place to look for games with SpotPass for the list: https://nintendoeverything.com/?s=SpotPass
Just looking at the 1st page, Dragon Quest VIII has SpotPass.
Hopefully that means we'll get some decent games on mobile. But probably not.
Still, the fact that they're looking at making that money back in about 4-5 years is just mind boggling.
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
