    Thanks for this tip!!! Was able to fully separate Sys and Emunand and the update worked perfectly. :D Just for future reference is there any way to relink the nands if I ever need to? I don't think I ever will but the option to would be nice. Not bothered if I can't.

    Yep, it works fine. I'm just trying to use the problem being there in the first place as proof my 3DS is on emunand and it's safe to update despite no GW3D :p

    Today I got my OoT3D JP copy and loaded up Gateway. I backed up the system nand and formatted emunand and was going to update to 9.5 but there's no GW3D in front of my system version (8.1J). 3.1.1 was supposed to fix this so I'm cautious if I should update or not. For what it's worth the 3D...

    OK so I finally got my JP OoT3D copy in today and Gateway worked thank god.     Also is 9.5 emunand now supported on New 3DS? There were problems with that on New 3DS before as they said but I'm curiois if they fixed it with the release of this exploit. Maybe they said it in the update and I missed it though, idk. :p

    Am I able to load the exploited JP save onto JP OoT with my NA old 3DS? I would think so since I was backing up saves from JP games on my NA unit but I wanna be extra sure.

    Damn, if only I had a Japanese copy of Cubic Ninja... I want region free on N3DS so bad so I can play NA games on my regular unit. Guess I'll keep waiting on Gateway. Really impressive work regardless, will be cool to watch this develop! :D

    They did show Smash loading up though, and it had the faster loading time that it should have when played on a New 3DS. So games should recognize being played on a New 3DS thankfully.

    Cool, as long as I can bring over my digital games and (most of) my saves I am satisfied. Guess I'm getting a Gateway tonight.
