My school has GBAtemp blocked. I do not have a library card (kid ruined a book a long time ago), I had to use a friend's USB dongle and tether to his phone to post this.
Here's the pro's secret. Get a drill bit that is smaller in diameter than width of the connector. Get some needle files from your local Walmart. Use the drill to create your starter hole. Use the square file to file the hole to shape and size.
I must agree. My children who do not like to follow all directions all of the time have updated via this prompt. Luckily it was on emuNAND, and only it updated. This has happened 3 times over. If the potential is there, it is very slight.
You can remove thee LEDS altogether as well, or put the tape on the blue LED inside the 3DS, as they are separate (power/low power) unlike the RGB notifiactaion LED.
Yeah, no. The LEDs are soldered directly to the mobo. That cable is to the backlight for the bottom screen.
To the OP: Check for loose solder bridging and clean your soldering area with isopropyl alcohol.
I have 2 people I would think would be fun to chew the fat with...
@gamesquest1 and @Ronhero
There are other people I like here too, but these two get honorable mentions for reasons that are my own.
