    I can confirm that using the methods described by Mr. civickm, I got back my unit today. Intact.

    As for Hundsie, I won't be submitting the CC-10V3 and court summons anymore.

    For anyone who doesn't have their units yet, keep trying and start filling out your small claims and court summons documents just in case.

    Yep, I'm done being Mr. Niceguy after months of waiting.

    Like Mr.civickm, I sent him a letter (signed) threatening legal action if he didn't return my hardware by October 26th. He has neither contacted me nor returned the item. This is criminal, I'm done. I'm contacting him a final time and submitting a CC-10 V3 and CC-25 Summons V4.

    If you're reading this Hundsie, I'll see your thieving ass in court.

    Just so people know, Hundshamer has become a lot more active these past few days, visiting the site at least three times this week (including tonight at 12:11AM). If he still has your 3DS, now would probably be a great time to PM him and demand your systems back. I wouldn't be soft about it either, since it seems that he has had some our systems as far back as February, which is obviously unacceptable. Best of luck!

    Hey everyone, so I got my two units back that I sent to be downgraded, I sent a letter informing Hundshamer I was going to start legal action if my property wasn't returned to me by Sept 21st, also included in the letter was documentation showing all the attempts to contact him, via gbatemp, email, Facebook. I also used the same documentation to get my money back via google wallet dispute.

    Included with the letter was a return label for him to use so there would be no excuse for him not to return my hardware. I am sure he planned it but the hardware came back today in their original state (the 21st). I am glad I was able to get my hardware returned and I suggest everyone else to send a letter as well.

    For anyone having issues receiving your 3DS hardware, I myself had the same issues along with others and to the best of my knowledge we all overcome the issue by filing a dispute with Google on the transaction with Hundshamer and Emailed the account he told us to pay him.

    Does anybody else feel robbed? IDK what's going on in Hundshamer's life but he took my money and my console and heavily implied that he would be finished within a few days of receiving it.

    Honestly, I'm concerned about his personal safety at this point. He's a legit person who dissapeared from everywhere all of a sudden, including Skype.

    It's been a few months since I got my 2DS back from hundshamer. Unfortunately I was busy and haven't used the device since I got it back. Now the Start/Select buttons do not work. Did you have any ideas? Is it safe to open the lower half of the back up to check connections or did you epoxy the bottom half closed when you modded it?

    Do you fix issues like this?

    CAUTION is advised before use of hundshamer services.

    Dec 26th (bad mod); returned Feb 4th ... still waiting.
    vb_encryption_vb may be more timely.

    He put port on the outside, rather than under the battery cover (as agreed).

    I'm curious about downgrading for CFW. I know a hardmod is required, how does this physically affect the 3DS in a permanent sense (if at all and assuming success with no brick)?

    I'm tempted to ask for a downgrade/CFW installation but unsure if that's for me or the price.

    You will have an installed port on your 3ds that will allow you to dump and write nand backups using an external device. This makes your 3ds essentially brick proof, even more than a9lh

    You can ask for the port to be installed under the back cover plate if you wish, making the mod invisible during normal use. Modders will usually put the system back together correctly, also making it close if not exactly like it originally was.
