    I blame test-driven development. The developers never predicted that prices could increase with time (to be fair, most prices don't), so the code assumes every change in price is a discount.

    For Xbox: look at our demographic. Even if we got Xbox One codes, assuming any of our review staff are capable of using it, how many people here would care, really? For PC, I dunno. 90% of what comes out on PC comes out on a home console anyways. For 3DS....lol indie. The eshop is pretty barren when you get down to it. Hardly indie paradise.

    I'm actually working on getting Nintendo related reviews out the door. The process takes a hellishly long time with them, and it took quite a bit of working with a Nintendo press rep to get a game copy. And given our site's reputation, it's a damn miracle we got a copy at all. But yeah, Nintendo is really hard to score review products from unless you're a huge media outlet like Kotaku.

    To be fair I didn't really "quit". I haven't prioritized doing anything for this site in a while, I've been much busier with work and real life activities than writing articles or doing work here. I knew eventually they'd take away my "position" since it was pretty pointless but never bothered touching the issue. So taking it away was no surprise and no real care to me.

    There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

    Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
