Wii #2930 - Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition (USA)

I think it is quite clear. Obviously one must dance. Also, one must fall. It really is a cream pink panter (sic) AND with an E! So, in closing, Kirby (which I have yet to actually get to work properly through WiiFlow) is a Nadsam with the pling plong. You know. The same song (I think someone had...

    DS #3951: Treasure World (USA)

I actually ran into this when I was on the way home the other day. Battery was low and at some point during the trip home, it shut off while still scanning. The good news is that the stars it found before it shut off were still there when I started it back up again. so yeah, what you said...

    DS #3951: Treasure World (USA)

I am just amazed at how well it can pick up the hot spots. I had mine on coming into work today and I have to take the highway for a good portion of it and I was still grabbing stars at 80 MPH. Rest stops on the other side of the highway even. even though I did not go through any densly...

    DS #3917: Ico Soccer (Europe)

I was thinking that this would be the hardest soccer game ever seeing as you have to constantly hold the hand of a glowing princess.

DS #3641: Mori no Cafeteria DS - Oshare na Cafe Recipe (Japan)

umm......I think I see smurf bear (only not a smurf). Sure, he has a desguise on, but I can see him. No facial hair can trick me.....except maybe my mom's

DS #3440: Legacy of Ys: Books 1 & 2 (USA)

I forgot how hard the game is in the beginning. the "combat" sure was something. Still, this was one of my favorite games (book 1 and 2) on the TG16 CD.

    DS #3245: 42 All-Time Classics (v1.1) (Europe)

I love this game. Sure, it has been around for a while, but I was so addicted to trying to get all the medals and what not for this. Nothing I can say here, though, that has not already been said in other threads about the game. I do wonder, however, what sort of bug would cause a company to...

    DS #3241: Hello Baby (Europe)

Seriously, what horrible parenting. That kid is very close to those cut out letters. no telling what type of ink is used but in two minutes that baby will have all of those letters in it's mouth.

    GBAtemp Recommends! Guru Logi Champ

I LOVE this game. for the longest time I used to have a picture from this game as my signature.....but then I lost the file. One of my favorite parts is the bathroom level where the little dude is riding it backwards.

    Gaming Fallout.3.READNFO.XBOX360-Seed4ME

Most people are saying yes due to the date that this particular copy was mastered. the SS states it was mastered on 8-28-08, but Bethesda did not announce that the game went gold until about a month later. However, I have also read on other sites that review copies are not supposed to play on...

    Gaming Fallout.3.READNFO.XBOX360-Seed4ME

Here is my concern though (well, one of my concerns). I was looking through the forums on xbox-scene and came across this thread (http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?sho...p;#entry4355335)hat seems to say that review copies can not play on normal (modded) 360's. They only work on dev kits and...

Gaming Installing A Custom Firmware Tutorial

First of all, awesome that this is now stickied. well worth it. 2nd, I finally got my slim PSP and used the prefered method (both for the battery and the pspgrader) and it worked great. I was even able to use the pencil trick to fix the battery. It did not work well with one pencil I was using...

  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I appreciate the insight!
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@TwoSpikedHands just switch, all the knowledge you learned still applies and most of the code and assets should be the same anyway
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    and realistically they wouldn't

be able to play it legally anyway since they need a ROM and they probably don't have the means to dump it themselves
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
why the shit does the shitbox randomly insert newlines in my messages
  • Veho @ Veho:
It does that when I edit a post.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It inserts a newline in a random spot.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
never had that i don't think
  • Karma177 @ Karma177:
do y'all think having an sd card that has a write speed of 700kb/s is a bad idea?
trying to restore emunand rn but it's taking ages... (also when I finished the first time hekate decided to delete all my fucking files )
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Karma177 that sd card is 100% faulty so yes, its a bad idea
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the slowest non-sdhc sd cards are a few MB/s
  • Karma177 @ Karma177:
@The Real Jdbye it hasn't given me any error trying to write things on it so I don't really think it's faulty (pasted 40/50gb+ folders and no write errors)
  • DinohScene @ DinohScene:
