This is probably best thought of as a Release candidate (RC1) version

EDIT: Version 1.21 wich fixes two major bugs when adding files to the image is at post #35. The scrubbing is the same as in the 1.2 version.

Whats new?
1. Smaller compressed sizes possible as a bug fix was marking data
that wasn't actually used.
2. Allows for replacement of files on the ISO -i.e Right click LOAD menu works
3. Allows for replacement of files larger than the original
4. Auto Trucha signs if a file is replaced

Bug fixes:
1. Another 32/64 bit error meant that I was marking data used that
wasn't. This saves about an extra 100-200 Meg from an image.
2. Few display errors corrected
3. A 32/64 error meant some files could not be extracted correctly

Thanks to Waninkoko for releasing the source of the WiiFrii code as it allowed
me to implement the Trucha bits.

Now available for download from:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=F3D85RLY
and
http://rapidshare.com/files/110883371/WIIS...erv1.2.rar.html for those that like cats.

No real limitations on the code, it seems to work correctly. Any problems then post on here.

The known issues are:
1. Trying to put a larger apploader on doesn't work
2. Due to the way I mark data as being used (32k blocks) There can be the occasion where if you put a larger file into the image then replace it with the original sized one then it will not go back to the same location.
3. Files are put into the image from bottom to top of the data area so seek times may be affected.
4. You can't put more data into a partition than the partition size is set to. If you want to manually change the relevant values (at location 0x2bc - 0x2bF in the partition header - remembering the size is divided by 4 before being stored)
5. I reparse the ISO after every file replace

Whats useful:
As it doesn't have the Trucha Signer partition or filecount limits then it can replace files on titles such as Mario Kart and Wii Fit.

Now if the Japanese groups released the scrubbed along with the diff files....... everyone could potentially be happy.

The real work in this version is the capability to modify the ISOs that Trucha Signer doesn't currently touch.

I take it Trauma Centre is a problem child?

I should add that you should really copy an image of the ISO before altering the data - in case anything goes wrong.

Source code will be available in the next few days.

I am trying to make Jap Wii fit to show English
there is a sound file (rp_Health_sound.brsar) which is 219MB
I tried to replace it into the Jap version
it's taken a very long time, how do I know if it is still working or it's stuck?

As long as the disc light flicks occasionally then it's doing something (hopefully

).

I need to optimise the replace routine (as I used Waninkoko's original that was designed for smaller files I believe)

I'll try and get hold of an ISO and have a look at it this evening.

1. Can we scrubb the scrubbed games produced by earlier versions to save even more space? In other words, do we need the original ISOs to scrubbe again or just scrubb on the already scrubbed images?
2. There seems to be a minor problem with long filenames, probably over 50 or 60 characters. Some of the characters in the filenames are cut off after being cleaned.

Anyway, thanks Dack for the great work. You're the man
